Can we appreciate just how f-ing brutal the "you lose" screens were in this series?!
For real, nothing more brutal than cleaning the latrine, especially after taco tuesday.
These and the fallout death scenes haunt my childhood.
Some of them were pretty rage inducing I remember when I was in 4th grade at the Y after school one of the computers had the first 2 games and another kid that played this nearly had a Fortnite COD figuratively and perhaps Literal Meltdown over failing one of the missions and seeing one of those game over screens.
My god some of these cutscenes are brutal. I'm surprised they actually made it in the game.

oh yes, definitely a source of nightmares as a child.
But I loved the game and series so much.
It had sooo many hours of content packed in it.
Gonna be real, when I was a kid playing and I saw a zombie in game for the first time, the speed at which I turned off the game broke the land speed record.
Then after a while, in multiplayer matches, I wanted zombies on all the time! It added a fun mechanic to the game where you could essentially use the zombies as cover while getting shot at if you moved the right way. For me at least.
I liked how in the first game You Lose was just assigned to KP XD

At least they were good at rendering a kitchen
It's clear the Army men: World War took inspiration from Saving Private Ryan
Yes, but without the saving Ryan part but some of the sequences are from that movie.
I miss the guy without the arm
And Army Men RTS took little bit reference from Apocalypse Now

Huh no kidding I never knew Wally Fields was a voice in the original Army Men.
Yeah I didn’t know who Wally Fields was until I started digging through the credits. But he doesn’t voice Sarge that would be artist Scott Ruggles.

Nostalgia! One of my first ever computer games, played it when I was about 7 or 8 years old, I'm 32 now.
I liked the first games WW2 film reel style cutscenes, none of the other games emulated it
