- In this video, I share with you these eye-catching laser-cut cocktail smokers! Most of the cocktail smokers out there on the market are geared toward CNCs and NOT lasers, well not anymore!
These things look great, work great, and even more importantly- sell great!

I saw Hamilton Dilbeck making those things. Can't believe people buy so many of those.
Nice job though and great video.
Thank you. I think they are such a hot product (no pun intended) because it’s a fully immersive experience- you get the scent of fire/smoke, the visual of the glass filling with smoke and, of course, the taste!
Great info!
Thanks - I appreciate the support
Those turned out great! The pixilated picture of Mario in the background is awesome! Did you make it?
Thanks and yes, I made it a couple of years ago!
If I close my eyes I think I am listening to Danny Devito... Cool video and thank you for the helpful tips
Thanks…. I think
@@SJSSawdust That Danny Devito comment was intended as a compliment on my part, apologies if you hate the guy
@@user-bt5qt9pp4x No- Devito is the man, best character in SUNNY
Hey I want to cut wood penal like so can I do
Great Video
Thanks- I appreciate it!
Great video, I'm considering doing something similar as I get into my first laser (20w diode), what size screens are you using for this specific build? Appreciate the video, and helping some of us out here make a bit of additional income with our toys!
The screens are incredibly cheap, like a penny each. They are 3/4” in diameter
@@SJSSawdustappreciate the quick reply, thanks very much, I'll definitely have to give this a shot!
Thst looks awesome what do you burn to create the smoke in the whole
Thanks! You can use any hard wood shaving to burn.
What do you think about adding tabs to that insert piece in a fashion that would twist lock into place, allowing the mesh to be replaced if needed. Is that worth the extra work cost wise? Would it even be a positive to do that, business wise? You would be better off just selling a whole new product to returning customers instead of replacement parts, right?
That’s an interesting point. This was designed to be very fast and easy. The mesh screen is simply pressed into place and is held by friction only - so replacement is a breeze! Since you are only scorching the wood for a very short time, these will last a very long time!
@@SJSSawdust Yeah, you're right. I think that the pressfit is just as easy to replace. Tend to overthink things to try and make them easier to use,etc lol. Sometimes it works out, sometimes...not so much.
@@adamarzo559 hahah. I do that all the time!
Nice channel. I subscribed to your channel. I love CNC wood working and have my own channel where I make a bunch of Hay and farm work. I just uploaded a CNC video that I have been itching to post but think I need a New channel for that. What do you suggest. I have a Laguna swift 4x4. and do make some great items. 2-3 D Badges, Rocking horses, Piggy banks ETC.
Thanks! Since CNC videos will be so different from your current content, I would suggest starting another channel
@@SJSSawdust Thank you.
I'm new to the laser scene, would the D1 pro 10w be able to handle this file?
I definitely think so. The 20w cut through in a single pass (pine) or 2 passes (oak). I think you won’t have any problem if you run multiple passes at a slower speed!
I have a few questions! Would you be available by email? I have a Glowforge basic and I think this would be so cool!
Sure. My email is Spowerful@hotmail.com
Thanks how thick is the wood?
For this project, I used 1/2” for the “fire” and one of the rings and 1/4” for the other ring. You could use thicker material for the rings and just sand the thickness down to your liking , if you want the bottom to be flat
How much are u selling them for? I think they would sell well here.
They can go anywhere between $20 and $25
