Could not agree more. Just got one and love it even more than my Mercedes. Only thing I don't like about the Mazda 6 is how pathetic the exhaust sounds. It sounds exactly like my mother in laws Hyundai Accent 😂

Sounds good, I have a 2017.5 mszda 6 and I put the racing beat kit on it along with the MV tuning diffuser, changed the look of the rear for the better!!!!
These cars hit a low frequency in person like a subwoofer with the cork sport
My neighbor has one wit just the axle back and it’s kinda quiet but the low frequency is what u hear

a decent 4 banger sound
All depends on engine geometry. Over square engines tend to sound like this (over square is the stroke is longer than the bore. Ie bore 80mm stroke 92mm) Hondas sound the way they do because they are the opposite or even, say 80mm bore, 80mm stroke or 80mm bore 78mm stroke. It's also why they have no torque but Rev fast and high.
My 2013 Focus 2.0L SE with a Borla catback sounds like this car as well, deep tone that sounds good and isn't annoying and zero drone.

Hey guys! I am really new to the car mod scene. I have little to no prior experience. I drive a Mazda 6 2016. How hard would something like this be to install?
Do all your research before you buy it. Get the right kit for your model and I suggest you talk to somebody you know that’s mechanically inclined (or even an actual mechanic) / automotive mods engineer to help install it if you’re not confident you could do it yourself. Comes down to money, time and risk
With the resonator off, it'll sound good for sure. Still way too quiet for a aftermarket axle-back exhaust

This exhaust would sound like garbage without a resonator, as would most cars. The sound totally not the point here. Without the res you negatively impact exhaust flow and will lose power.

Oh Hell No! This is completely unsuitable!! You can barely hear this car and sounds no different than a stock Pontiac Aztec, and that's a damn shame 😏Owner should have just run an open manifold, which is hands down the best setup and provides optimal back pressure and increased fuel pump and filter performance on these 2020 Mazda 6 2.5L's.

There’s not really a point of doing an axle back on something like this the only time you notice a difference is when you put it on something with a v8 like a corvette or Camaro something that comes stock without a resonator

It’s a Mazda 6 with a 2.5L engine. It’s not even a typo either, there is a space between the 6 and 2 in the title. You just can’t read.

I fail to see why anyone would want to modify the exhaust on a Mazda 6. Just ridiculous.
I have this, it was an awesome, fun mod to install. I also added a cold air intake because I wanted to hear the turbo. Both mods made the car go from "fun, sporty & pretty sedan I really like😁 to drive" to "damn, I love this car".
That's why I modified.

I guess you forget or not old enough back in the early 2000s where civic especially were modded to nothing. Non turbo base engines has intakes and the fart cans were thrown on and people drove like they were in a supercar. I have a 6 and got better wheels, nothing more done.
