As a high schooler who had a mom that would only provide food after school. Listen moms please please providing food is not enough, give hugs, ask to sit down on couch with them to cuddle pet the head/the back whatever. Let your kids Rest especially if they say they are so tired. I can almost guarantee that using the brain till 2-4pm from 7-8am is more tiring than doing chores. Lastly if you have multiple kids treat them all the same. My mom never made me breakfast before school but would do so for my other siblings. Years later I asked why and got "cuz you could take care of yourself" (being the oldest) even if so I would still very appreciate the gesture or offer. And show appreciation. And love/care. Don't think just cuz you cook food for your kids everyday they feel your love. Now I'm a mom myself, my kid still small but sometimes I get very sad thinking am I even showing enough love or am I doing this right why why? Cuz I never really felt love/care from my own mother. It's funny I got more love from granny than my own mother. She would teach me things, patient, encouraging, loving always showering me with hugs and kisses would understand if I said something about my pain or exhaustion etc 😅so yes mothers please show and give love and care.

I got a "Napkin Note" everyday up until my last packed lunched in my Senior Year & that's what I remember still until this day at 36. I absolutely love I have that memory of a Mother who took the time to tell me... Do my best, she was proud of me, Be kind to others, To be a good friend and most importantly She Loved Me. Yet, I also don't feel if a parent can afford doing such for their children that they should be frowned upon or them to be made to feel they are doing something wrong or spoiling their children. They are showing love how they feel best for their growing childs health and as long as an effort of love and support is being made then does it really matter at the end of the day? No. There where years as my Mom waited for her Military pension we had NOTHING and then the school years she had finally received it and I had EVERYTHING. Within all those years, I truly remembered I was loved and of course my Forever "Napkin Notes" 💕😊. Positive Vibes.

I graduated from my masters, have my two babies already. I'm a full-blown adult. I didn't and wouldn't have needed all this from a parent, all I needed and had were parents who cared what I did and why I did it. Talking, mentoring, advising. I used the same stationery as I did in high school all throughout college and university.
