Btw, my overall band score was 8.0 (Listening 8.5, Reading 8.5, Writing 7.0, Speaking 7.0)
For those who are about to take the IELTS exam, this video might help. I have a few examples and screenshots there. Plus there's a technique I used to improve my writing since I'm very bad with language skills. From elementary to college, my lowest grades are Filipino and English. Seems like my brain is not designed to retain linguistic skills haha So, if you are like me, try it my way 😁

Ma'am Thank you so much for all the tips. I registered for IELTS last august 27, took it September 3. I only had a week to do self-review and just binge watched tips from youtubers like you and E2 ielts. In my work as a nurse educator here in phil, I use english everyday as my medium of communication. After 4 days, my results were L: 7.5, R 7.5,W 7.5 and S 8.5 for a total of band 8. I was so happy i passed it on my first take. Now Im already waiting for the confirmation of my NMC application. Your vlogs are very helpful to us aspiring UK nurses. More power to you po.

@@benedictflores601 Sir E2 ielts youtube channel lang. Just watch their tips. Then sometimes have live videos and exams so I took advantage of that and their replays. Once you register for an exam they'll give you online review materials to assess yourself.

Congratulations and thank you very much for this video! Regarding your score, I was surprised to see that you scored a 7.0 in the speaking test. I expected it to be an 8 or even 8.5, as you speak very clearly and fluently
My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

Skl diy din po ako. What helped me po sa speaking was listening to speaking mock test with band 7 -9 scores in YT and imitating the answers of the candidates.

It got difficult lately with writing I was given abstract diagram chairs and tables and main topic water, trees, oil. I mean there is supposed to be no wrong or right here they come up with standard topic with a general subject.

I'm here because I failed my speaking test practice multiple times...I always get a dead stop. As for the other categories, my head blew up with frustration. I kept at it but I just felt dumb and stupid everytime. I'll keep practicin...

If you are about to take General IELTS better to self review than going to review center. There's a lot of resources that we can used also if you choosed IDP as your test center they are giving free review course for all types of exam. I recently got my result last week,and all my hardworks are worth it. I did a self review just pure youtube university 🤣🤣🤣

@@theaveragejuan for me it's more on reading online articles about world events or issues (if you're about to take IELTS). And not just reading it but taking notes to work on your vocabulary and grammar first. Then later on, you can practice speaking with your improved vocabulary 😉

Kaya yan! 😊 I just self-reviewed for roughly 1 month during night time only kasi i have a full time day job and i have kids so i only get to review after they sleep.. Use the listening tests here sa youtube.. Very helpful, they're more difficult than actual.. Tip: practice the maps and directions na type of test, dun ako nalito.. I got 8.5 sa Listening.. Hope this helps! 😊
