      The interviewer was excellent and correct if a little to correct, l would say he is Irish and they tend to speak excellent but overall he was 100% correct

      I don't mind if the teacher test me a couple of times, because he was handsome, nice and kind. But I'm so shy with my vocabulary because my last employer say my pronunciation too messy and not enough to take test 😭😭😭

    I think he deserves a 7 band, his thoughts are organized, his grammer is correct, and he is confident as well.

      actually, band 6.5 matches his level as you can see the feedbacks examiner gave to him. I agree that his thought was well-organized, however coherence was a little bit interrupted and there was also some basic mistakes in his grammar like 'go to the gym', preposition usage. He's good indeed but I think 6.5 is perfectly suitable for him

    Honestly...
    He's better than me. In confident, fluency, and natural. I'm probably not be able to speak without pausing. And grammar, vocabulary are also my biggest problem.
    I've never taken an English course, but I hope, someday I'll get 7+

    His answer is actually really good, and it seems spontaneous too (which is good). I think he only need to work on his confidence, just to make the examiner more convince to give him higher results. However, i think he deserves at least 7 for this speaking tho.

      Answering the questions myself is surprisingly really great. It's helping me practice remaining calm and answering my questions thoughtfully. I'm taking my speaking test tomorrow.

    The interviewer was quite polite but I don’t quite agree with the grade. His mistakes were not that relevant and he should have gotten a higher mark.

      He has mannerisms ,if you take IELTS ,you should try to limit your mannerisms; try to be more confident in answering questions ,be precise and concise ,the guy is lucky coz the interviewer who interviewed me before was so strict

    You can tell his English is very good. I mean his reading and writing will be much better than his speaking. If he practices more his speaking can reach band 8 easily!

      sometimes other abilities are more important than being just fluent.
      there are 4 criteria... Fluency and coherence- pronunciation- vocabulary- grammar
      if you use a wide range of vocabulary and grammar... your fluency will be covered approximately

    Frankly speaking, his fluency as well as coherence were excellent since he could deal with examiner's questions by comimg up with outstanding ideas. However, if he wanna get higher band score, i think he needs to use much more advanced words and phrases.
    ( just my opinion 🙂).
    Anyway, i love his voice which is so sweet ^^.

      I feel the same, I wouldn't have wondered if he had gotten 7.5 or even 8. His fluency and relevancy look so smooth. I am rather wondering why he only got 6.5 because I have seen many 6.5 demos and trust me they were way below his performance.

    I made fewer mistakes in grammar, but didn't speak the full 2 minutes.

    아 저정도만 되어도...정말 정말 좋지.., 우아 준수한 정도를 넘어서네요~~그러면서 인간다워보이는 실력... 내 막 귀에도 말이 전달됨..원어민 입장에서 부자연스럽거나 부정확하게 느껴지는 부분있겠지만...비영어권 사람들에게도 잘 통할 수 있게 구사하고 계신게 아닐까해요~~~빠르진 않지만 찬찬히 여러 구체적이고, 명확한 단어(초중고급 단어 두루두루)들을 쓰시고 계심...이 정도면 해외 직장 취직도 가능하지 않나요?

    The examiner made a mistake at the end. When a person says thank you very much, you are supposed to say "you are welcome," not "thaank you thank you" so, that mistake prevents him from reaching the Band 7

      저희조카 8년차 호주 유학생이에요.
      병원가면 모르는 단어 많아요.
      그리고 많이 떨리고요.
      저인터뷰 하시는분 저 얼굴 보고 같은 동네라서 얼굴 몇번 뵌적 있어요.저분은
      외국친구들이랑만 다니시더라고요
      유학생 하시면 외국 친구들 만나야 영어 많이 늘어요.

    Both of them are charming: The examiner is affectionate and kind. The candidate is calm with a cheery smile.
    I feel happy for the candidate as I feel for myself. I can respond like he did and support my conversation with various vocabulary.
    I'm 18, and I really hope that I will be able to take the IELTS in the next couple of months because I'm eagerly determined to study at a state-of-art university

    The examiner is very calm and patient .Also he is very friendly and is very encouraging.I had my speaking exam today and faced a lot of spontaneous questions from the examiner😢.. I became a little nervous and started repeating some points… it has happened in two occasions.. will it cost me much??I am keeping my fingers crossed.

    6.5 is low for him
    he made a mistake when he said "candidates" instead of "options" but other than this he was very good at the rest.
    but I think the problem was his confidence and being too slow, when he's giving his opinion he was hesitating not because of the language barrier but because he would also hesitate in his mother language also, also he was slow at talking which implies that he can't formulate scentences quickly

    It is quite hard to articulate thoughts within split seconds, the sense of urgency pumps the blood into one's head and it will affect thinking process. So, stay calm is the key to succeeding speaking test.

    He’s really good. But he needs to use more advanced vocabulary & connectives to make his speech more coherent. I like how relaxed and natural he is. And I believe this is what matters the most in IELTS. To sound natural and speak fluently
