I came across SST few month ago and really liked the idea the approach of disrupting btech. Being a btech cs engineer myself I can tell how my 4 year education was kind of pointless. Everything that I use now is what I picked up from the job. If they are really able to deliver what they promise this is truly going to help a lot of people actually learn and build things.
Several other colleges like newton function up etc came up after SST proving the fact that Scaler’s mission is much needed.
It's not even a btech degree STFU dumbass don't mislead students its going to have a huge impact on their life. Students that had came to this college, most of them will be privileged students who can take these kinds of risks. Even AMITY has a vast and beautiful campus but it's just a scam school.

SST seems to have cracked the code on disrupting traditional tech education, and I'm truly excited about this. Interestingly, after Scaler announce SST there's been a wave of similar platforms cropping up like Newton School and Function UP. I dont know how these copies are but their presence validates the dire need for SST's mission to reshape tech education for the better. The future looks bright, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes us!

I'm from a biology background and have a genuine doubt about this approach. I am a core academic researcher and in my opinion, this kind of approach is there in biological sciences as Manmeet mentioned but that is for industrial purposes if you want to get employed but if this approach is employed all over. How will the research aspect of computer science and technology work? that requires multidisciplinary knowledge and understanding of basic fundamental theorems. My question to the scalar team would be how will you uplift academic research in India where there is already a shortage of research if a student wants to go in that field?
Indians are not interested in research. Western ppl will do all the work and we will use the result of their work and work like donkeys :-)

I'm in 11th right now What would you say about the competition to get into this college? its like IITs or the selection process is more based on application system of the US? I've seen that they will interview candidates. If interview is the main thing then i would probably show off my codes which i made in C# for math equation solving (like Pythagoras theorem , Quadratic formula,etc). I have won MUN multiple times in school and I have my own business idea in my mind. Im currently preparing for JEE. Though my chemistry is absolutely miserable and my JEE mock test results are average.

What I am doing here is saving you money by me myself visiting these colleges and showing you the campus, talking to the students and the faculties! If you are wise enough, you will understand the difference between promotion and campus tour and spreading information.
Please keep your eyes and ears open! And of course don’t listen to any influencer if they are hard selling anyone of these colleges! In the end of the day, you have to take decision! Thanks!

I have been studying in SST for the past three months and I can definitely say and I m sure that this is the best education in this field u can get.. Everything about the education is top notch.But be aware that u need to be interested in computer science and ready to sit behind a screen for hours in a day or I can see this curriculum being too much for some people. One issue is that SST is not a big college with thousands of students and it doesn't feel like a traditional college even though all teachers and management are pretty liberal and understanding
..The vibe is a little different but not bad .. If big fests with many students and other such big events is very important for u then SST may not be the best choice for u .But if u are genuinely interested in computer science and want to develop and be something more along with other good classmates then u should definitely try for it..

@@Apurvanotfoundsee bro i am in 10th rn and all of the projects you talked about is actually not a very big deal tbh you will never get admission in any college let alone those amercian college but you are quite ambitious which is good the admission process of sst compromises of nset followed by a interview in which they will ask you about your personality intrests etc your coding experience may help in that round but first you will have to crack the exam
@@tamonashdas5325 NSET is not a big deal for me as I am preparing for JEE. And all of my projects were made three - four years ago, I mean that I did those in grade 8. I have more complex app in development. Its a Django app which displays study based UI based off youtube.
