@@DubaiTrains I saw they were make up sponges , I have used them in theater work never would have thought to use them for weathering, nice to see you think out of the box
I would say try it out. I think it should work. The makeup sponges are very fine. If it doesn't work then I wouldn't know what would work except for chalks.

Hi David, I use sponges for almost all detail work. Cheap high dense makeup sponges work the best I find.

do sponges work for n scale too? im interested in weathering in n scale and your techniques work very well for ho scale, would they work in n scale
