    Ramblin' Bob, I'm thinking of buying the E600LFP now that the price is a little over $0.50/watt. I'm not crazy about no UPS and having to deal with a power brick; I'm spoiled with the simple AC cord of my E1500LFP.
    My question for you is: While charging my E1500LFP/EP3000 combo with the E1500 AC cable, do you think I can also connect the E600LFP power brick to my EP3000 to decrease overall charging time? Having that (extra) charging brick would be one advantage of buying the E600.
    I first looked at the E300LFP because of the the sale price. I like the on board power supply, 2-way USB-C and UPS but its a smaller than I want for a second (and portable) unit. Thanks for all the updates and keeping it interesting. JZ

      We have used the e600lfp & e2000llp to charge the ep3000 and had no problems on our setup :)
      The neat thing about the ep3000 is you can charge from 12v to 95v input, and the ac bricks are right in the middle of that voltage :)

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  7 месяцев назад +1

      @jonnylakewood7767 Just remember that when you use a ac charger through the batteries, the input power will not show up on the input meter on the e1500lfp, but rest assured, that the power is going into the whole system (through the back door) and the percentage meter will go up as the system checks itself every minute or so :)
      So it will not overcharge the system because it has it's own BMS built in the battery :)
      P.S. SCRIBER FAMILY FOR THE WIN !!!!!

    Why did Pecron have prime sale but increase the EB3000 before prime was even started? I talked 4 friends into buying the E2000 & EB3000 on prime day.... Looks like they might only get the E2000 and get EG4 5kw unless they switch it back on during the prime dates ..... $1199 was a nice sweet spot for 3kw vs rack mounts at 5kw @$1400-$1500 range....

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  Год назад

      The EB3000 is right now $1.399 and the E2000LFP is $899
      That is waaay lower than we paid for ours, We paid $1,425 for the E2000LFP
      And $1,499 for each EB3000 battery is $100 less than we paid.
      Pecron's battery was always $1,499 that i know of
      And there where 2 codes given out to make them even cheaper, But i guess they do not work anymore. People told me that they picked up the e2000lfp for only $850 and the EB3000 for like $1,200 with that sale.
      But we have no idea how long it lasts, We just saw that deal on their website so we posted a video about it.
      (edit, yes it was 1,199 in the video, had to go back and watch it again, Did not notice when i threw it in the cart)

      @@RamblinBobReviews when you did the video on the prime sale the EB3000 was $1199 till yesterday.... Was helping buddy order it and Amazon gave him 2 orders on wrong account so had to cancel and wait for funds to be returned today but deal went away.... So they should not say prime if it expires before prime even started or finished!!!! What are your thoughts on using server rack for extra battery on E2000?

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  Год назад

      Oh yeah, I didn't even notice the price for the eb3000, I just threw it into the cart to test the codes. I have no idea why they do that. I do know that some of the people that come here bought it for cheaper because they told me about the savings and said thank you. We just happened to see that awesome price on the e2000lfp and made a video to try to help other people save some money :(
      P.S. I had the SAME idea and I mentioned it in many videos of having a HUGE server rack battery stack hooked to the e2000lfp :)
      there is a guy that tried it....Here is the link for that video.

      pecron is a much better deal and i dont need the extras like bluetooth with the bluetti.

  • @cage-rattler

    Why are you shocked it will discharge at 750ish watts? It's a 1200 watt inverter.

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  Год назад +4

      Because it is only a 600wh battery pack, And i like equal size to discharge rate on a battery pack.
      So if i made this box, I would have only made it discharge at 600 watt max...So the battery cells last longer.
      Not to mention, 800 watts on a tiny box like this is fantastic, With no heat build up. I like it.

    I'm waiting for my E600LFP (ordered a few days ago, but haven't any update).
    Interesting that the DC charging input is limited to 300W when it's supplying AC. That's odd. I was hoping it'd take the full 400W input even while supplying AC.

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  Год назад +1

      Yeah, I found that kinda weird also now that i went back and watched the video test again, Maybe it is a safety when i was pulling almost 800 watts.
      Remember the max output of this power station is 1,200 watts
      What is your thoughts on this? I would have to go back and watch that test the i did at that live event to see if i got more from the solar panels.....

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  Год назад

      Maybe it is a two way inverter and it has energy going both ways???? No idea....

    • @zigzagluck
      @zigzagluck Год назад +1

      No, it's not a 2-way inverter. If it was, you wouldn't need a separate power brick. Only thing I can think of is thermal management. Maybe they have some programming that limits charging after you exceed a certain discharge rate.
      Would be good to test DC input at various AC outputs (i.e. 300W, 450W, 600W, 700W).
      Try to identify the AC output threshold where it will start pointing DC input (assuming there is one).
