- The Vodacom Bulls were in sublime form as they beat the Chiefs by a record score of 61-17 in a rather one-sided Vodacom Super Rugby final in Pretoria in 2009.

Awe... to relive this fantastic game back in 2009! The build up, excitement. The milk bottles in the shops were blue, the boerewors was blue, Pretoria turned blue! And the Blue Bulls never let us down. What a day, what a game, what a team, what a win! Fantastic! 🥇🏈💙

Best part of these highlights are the Australasian commentators. The usual arrogant confidence in their voices at the start turning into utter despair towards the end is the cherry on top.
2 wins by SA in 20 odd attempts gives them plenty of reason to be confident.

What an absolute AMAZING Bulls team!!! Will we EVER see another Bulls team like this one??? I doubt it very much!! With salary caps, all the good players running after money to Europe and Japan (Not blaming them!) It will in current rugby climate never be possible to have a team like this!!

The game at Newlands the week before was the 2nd string Bulls team sent there, so that our star players could take a well deserved break. That game was of zero importance and you know it!
@@ricardobester3966 2021/2022 Stormers' only competition is Leinster, not much to be honest, we will see how good Munster fair in the final. But Super Rugby those days were much tougher than the Urc these days, all the star players of the world played in Super Rugby at that time. 2010 Stormers were beat fair and square in that final.
