Having shelf stable herbs from my garden is great!

I love my herb garden, why didn’t I always have a herb garden. Well, I have one now and I am learning how much I need and how to keep them shelf stable. It may not work out to be much in the way of money, but it is worth more than its weight in gold in joy. I harvest the herbs and wash them in cold water. I dry them gently with a clean tea towel and then place them
In the dehydrator. The lemon thyme airdries in about 48 hours. Once dry I place in a airtight container and leave for 2 weeks, when no moister or condensation has appeared I know its shelf stable. I also check for mould. I hope you had a good day.
