The raw emotion in this video is insane. Found you a super long time ago through Magnus' channel and this is so motivating!! Great work and it is so cool to see you succeed!
I've been vegging on movies, RUclips, everything, from tie-dying, ancient history, food prep, watercolor tutorials, even Magnus in Hollywood --- BUT this is the best by far. Anton is the teacher, the guru, the human who defies gravity, expectations, impossibility, and all the rest. This is not boring. The editing by itself deserves an award. The real-life slice of an athlete's persistence is all those superlatives and so much more. I saved this to my library and will be viewing it for years to come. This had better go viral!
This is exactly why Anton is so great... Not because of his talent, not because of his capabilities. But because he is driven, because he is patient, because he is motivated to improve. 13:16 is perfection..... where he speaks about Seans motivation and reward attempt. That you can't make Anton try harder, because he is already trying his best. 100% he always gives it his all.
Not - only - because of his talent, not - only - because of his capabilities might ne more accurate. Wow he has some amazing skills and the determination to improve and put in the work constantly.
Anton, you're a massive inspiration. I'll never be a gymnast or acrobat. I'll never compete in a physical event like you. I'm 42, and have a permanent and severe lower back injury. But seeing the grit that it takes to push yourself beyond what your current limits are, especially for someone that has decades of experience like you... is truly amazing. It helps to create further resolve in my own journey as a person and athlete. Thank you.
The sheer effort, emotion and dedication... You rock! I should donate more, you deserve more, but if everyone pitches in, you should get correctly rewarded
Really nice to see all the journey and the gregorius effort you put into to actually do it. Especially like you said it, when it's something that is hard to see the improvements and so very hard to stick to for longer periods of time. Also very intriguing as how on all the attempts the force looked enormous and impossible to withstand, but then when you actually did it, the force looked merely challenging. If you see only the sucessfull attempt it looks very hard but possible. Very intriguing on how the perspective shifts. Makes you think how many things we take for granted and judge as "doable" but don't know the colossal amount of effort it took to transition it from "impossible" to be seen as "doable". Extreme show of grit and also of good friends, as for continuing to support you after 9 months is also a testament for their support. Thanks for the Video Anton ^^ and II think you and your shoulders earned a well deserved rest/break.
I think I'm gonna show this to someone the next time they ask what it takes to be a world class athlete. It's not the gym routine or the diet, it's the dedication to all of it and more.
Success is not the absence of failures, it is the resolution to never surrender. I’m so proud of you, life can often feel just like your many attempts to complete this move; you work hard, you’re in pain, and still you can’t get the result you need. But if you’re willing to keep the faith in the power of the human spirit, if you’re willing to never surrender, you will succeed in the end. So happy for you and all your supporters! ❤ from Canada
mannn when you taco'd and said " i'm too old for this shit" I felt that in my soul, as someone in a very similar situation (someone whos spent their whole life doing acrobatic and physical stuff and still working in the field), i'm so please you kept going until you got it. good work man, you're an inspiration =)
your commentary was so funny and good throughout this, especially the callout to magnus going shirtless. mad respect to you, anton. truly an inspiration with the level of commitment you had to this... its not an easy thing to do at all. it looked SO clean even the first time you got it, too.
It was nice to see a RUclips about how hard you work to make something look easy. I'm 69 years old and work everyday to slow my muscle and agility loss. I enjoy your videos a lot.
I've watched your channel before and I like the stuff but you know I did the ole "don't subscribe, watch a video every once in a while" move. I subscribed after this video. That was a badass proj and the perseverance you had was amazing.
Bravo! This gives a new meaning to Anton's recommendation to, "Do a backflip." Near 17:25 in the video, the (attempt) number "641" is posted. That, for my arithmetic, works out to ~1282 backflips. Fully awesome! I'm also truly grateful and impressed how everyone involved in the gym with the project got the "exit swing" of the target rings set to the "sweet spot" arc. To my eyes, it so closely emulated the human catch (circus). Wow!
This is truly inspiring! He continues to try after failing multiple times, injuries and frustration simply for the personal satisfaction of achieving a self imposed goal. That is dedication! It is also the personification of my favorite word…tenacity! Well done sir!!
Thanks for being such an inspiration. I watched this a while back and I keep coming back to it. You make a big difference in peoples lives. Keep doing what you do!
In one video Anton said "Learning a new skill never looks cool", and although even your learning looks cool, I, and probably a lot of other people are happy to see, that even a monster (this is a compliment) like you need lots of attempts to learn something new. Really amazing and inspiring to see your journey. I want to get to a gym and fail hundreds of times now to learn something new! Thank you!
I love that you show your journey with all the failures and downs, and not only the highlights and progress this is more motivating for me as i usually i struggle with fear inside my head when i wanna learn new flips
Quitting is very dangerous. It can turn into the Habit of quitting. And once the habit is Active, we will not be able to learn anything that involves a higher degree of complexity, and this is very scary because the world is becoming more and more complex very fast, without us being aware of the process. Probably the formula for a successful Life can be simply put as "Always keep learning." AMAZING journey and amazing ATTITUDE! Kudos, Anton!
Anton, the ending almost made me cry. You are just amazing. Thank you for the motivation and for sharing the whole journey with its obstacles and difficulties.
I think you are like the Mr.Rogers of Tricking. Like you are always so uplifting and kind to yourself and others about the sport. I’m 350 lbs and out of shape, but you inspire me to try new things 300+ times till I get it right. Thanks!
anton you are such an inspiration and a blessing to this world. the purity and dedication you have can be heard overflowing in your voice. congrats friend i hope your life is filled with the overcoming of challenges.
THIS. Spectacular! I loved every second of this, even though almost all of them hurt for you. That pay off was huge. Two takeaways: How awesome it was to see you and your wife celebrating that victory. Really adds the human perspective to your otherwise machine-like dedication and strength Two: you mentioning that you usually don’t cheer. This says a lot about your character
That was amazing. The determination and work-ethic... wow. You should be proud of yourself and I'm so happy you have all these people around you to support you. What you achieve with your body and hard work is incredible.
Man, I just discovered your channel, so amazing!! I bet you'll have a million followers soon. It's not only your athleticism that's amazing and your endurance, but also your warmth, charm and humility. Really an exceptionnel human being. Thanks for sharing this journey with us!
Honestly thank u, seeing you struggling with no reach your goal just got me down no earth, I mean since I follow you, the way I see you is like you can do everything, doesn't matter how hard it is, you can always get it. Now watching you with this move, and that it has take you sooo long to achive it, wow. Right now I'm struggling with something as well and I feel like I'm not seeing any progress, and I often think like maybe I'm not doing my best because of that, so thank u for this video, so far the best in your channel.
I don't usually comment, but damn, that was impressive. And not just the move itself (which is obviouly difficult), but the perseverance. I've never seen anything like it. What you said about how one cannot always see one's progress really struck a cord with me: I have ADD and am still trying to learn how best to structure my life and work to find a balance that's sustainable for me, and it's so easy to get frustrated with the simple things that other people seem to do just effortlessly but that I struggle with - sometimes I feel that I do nothing but fail, over and over again. But all that effort, eventually it does pay off, even if no one can see it but just notices the failures, I gotta keep trying until I find what works for me.
Антон! Спасибо тебе огромное за твои видео! Твоё стремление преодолеть свои границы, твоя упёртость в достижении цели - это всё невероятно мотивирует. Каждый раз смотрю твои видосы и заряжаюсь!
The great thing, well, one of the great things about Anton, is that usually whatyou would see on social media is the final take and just think 'how the hell!'....but Anton shows you the work and repetitions and hundreds of failed attempts that lead up to that magic moment....and that gives me greater admiration....incredible man 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Напишу на русском. Досмотрев это видео до первой удачной попытки, я испытал такую радость за тебя, Антон, ты невероятно крут! Такой настойчивости и количеству вложенных физических и моральных усилий можно только позавидовать!
I was wondering what happened to Kelly and then you just casually sharing with us that your wife is cheering for you.. And i am like Wife, what happened? Congratz on both achievements - Wedding and this inhuman double back flip trick. :))
this video makes me so happy. i've only seen 20 min of your nine months but i feel so much excitement and joy for your accomplishment. like i feel motivated to get up and do chores i've been putting off. im glad you have so many people supporting you! you+wife are adorable. and yeah, gas in the Bay sucks.
The 'nailed it' music starts, you double backflip and catch the rings! Such a cool moment! I love how supportive your wife and friends are of your passion, and I appreciate the time and effort that goes into making these videos. It's cheesy but your resilience is inspiring and it's a pleasure to follow your journey.
Excellent work! I'd like to point out the 2 things you did on that final attempt that allowed you to catch the rings: 1) the softer arc you made through the air during the flips (mostly from your release point) 2) your arms were not fully stretched out when you made contact with the rings So many of your attempts were made with a lot of energy coming down on a vertical plane, being multiplied by gravity, instead of the energy traveling on a more horizontal plane; negating some of gravity's input. This also means that you were coming up a little short on your target and fully stretching your arms to reach, but that removed almost all of your shock absorbing ability. I don't know if you already figured out these things, or if they are even remotely helpful, but I felt it was worth pointing out in case this is something you'll be trying again in competition or something. Excellent work, I'm so glad you were able to do it in the end. Hopefully you'll be able to repeat the move with more consistency! Much love!
It was a lot of work! I talked to my circus friends and pro gymnasts to figure out how it might be possible to make less impact. Catching static obstacle hard by itself. They said it will be hard so it will take time until you build enough strength and technique to get the perfect moment. Also no grips…makes it extremely hard!🤘🔥 thanks a lot!💪
Anton, that was amazing! Your stamina in how you live your life is impressive. As is the way you treat the people around you with honor and respect. 😊❤
Anton... bro.. insane. Goddam, this channel is soooo underrated, the amount of time and work and passion you put into these videos is just unreal. 9 months of nonstop attempts till injury, non stop recording, and then even editing over 750gbs of video, all that for a 20 min video. Insane.
"You are always moving but sometimes you cannot see the move" - great thought. But sometimes you can do something so you can see the move. Partial progress visible helps you know if you are improving. Just need to progressively adjust your target from easy to hardest.
This video is the one I enjoyed the most from your channel! The editing is thrilling and I loved the comments along the video. Your level of dedication is so over the top, this is extremely impressive. Congrats for the achievement, good luck in finding another project and thanks for sharing your journey with us!
I really hope you understand that you will be motivating 10s of 1000s of people to never give up with this one video alone! Thanks again for being you Anton!
amazing video. your positivity always puts a smile on my face but to see how determined and persistent you are gave me a whole other level of respect for you. congrats on completing the move, and serious kudos for keeping at it for so long.
I can't even imagine how did you get so much patience. You're rock. I found your channel a few days ago and it all I watch in RUclips now. This is insane
Holy moly Anton, this is OCD and determination personified, I am so proud of you!!! That is so awesome, but also, coming from someone who has has shoulder labrum surgery, I am very afraid for your shoulders and elbows, so try to make sure to rest and listen to your body. But man, great job, and awesome trick!!!
This channel is so underrated

I've never seen a donation comment in the 10,000 hours of youtube videos I've watched, how come there are dozens on this video?

Thats a nice one! Thank you! 🤘
You are such a role model, Thank you for existing :)
Great storytelling, great editing and of course great achievement Anton.
this must be one of the best examples about commitment and (sometimes unnoticable) progress towards big goals, huge respect!
The sheer effort, emotion and dedication... You rock!

Love the "low-key" diss on Magnus by canceling flip with shirt off!🤣😂😭😂😭
The 'nailed it' music starts, you double backflip and catch the rings! Such a cool moment! I love how supportive your wife and friends are of your passion, and I appreciate the time and effort that goes into making these videos. It's cheesy but your resilience is inspiring and it's a pleasure to follow your journey.
When it started to sound i feel the chills coming!
Excellent work!
I'd like to point out the 2 things you did on that final attempt that allowed you to catch the rings:
1) the softer arc you made through the air during the flips (mostly from your release point)
2) your arms were not fully stretched out when you made contact with the rings
So many of your attempts were made with a lot of energy coming down on a vertical plane, being multiplied by gravity, instead of the energy traveling on a more horizontal plane; negating some of gravity's input.
