    This was my first ever trip to Saudi Arabia, and what better place to go to than Riyadh? Gamers8 gave Cook and I the opportunity to experience a $1,000,000 Street Fighter 6 tournament in person - along with discovering a new country, food and culture I've never explored before. I also got to meet a Prince!
    Part 1 is focused on the event and Gamers8 venue which holds lots of fun activities you'll see us partake in throughout the video.

    My first time ever to the Middle East was quite an adventure. Having the opportunity to discover a whole new place for me AND seeing some of the best Street Fighter action was just too good to be true. I’m really thankful for the experiences I had and mostly the people I met who deserve to have a spotlight and to help show how awesome KSA really was. My whole philosophy behind streaming is to bring us all just a little bit closer in this divided world… and I hope in my own little way, I was able to do that here. Can’t wait to return to eat more Al Baik!

      @@rami8896 I think it respects human rights far more than for example the US does. Like far more.
      Because women weren't allowed to drive they are now a bad country or what? What is this nonsense to be honest?
      Different rules do not equate to bad country.
      Isn't not taxing your people already a way higher standard of human rights than anything in the West?

    • @vokay
      @vokay 7 месяцев назад

      @@NasengoldTaxes are very important to maintain economic equality within a society, this not only positively affects social aspects of a society, but also a means of achieving a communal respect/responsibility. This is seen in countries with a high tax system like Nordic countries, Germany, and China.
      The issues aren’t only on women not being able to drive, but the overall outlook of women’s bodily autonomy and socio-economic mobility in Saudi society -the laws and justice system reflect that. I think people need to respect any culture they critique or participate in, but at the same time we should be able to freely (another issue with Saudi politics) critically examine the human rights violations (moral) of such a society.
      It’s the same when people criticize Isr*el’s current and past actions get called anti-Semitic, when in reality these 2 things are entirely separate.

    • @Nasengold
      @Nasengold 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@vokay Which human right is being violated? And what makes you treating women like men more righteous? You could argue that it actually is the opposite of that.
