Not sure if someone mentioned this before, but Dashcam lessons are the only ones that put the thumbnail clip as the first clip of the video. They're against clickbait and I love it
Just because a channel doesn't use a thumbnail from the first clip doesn't make it clickbait. I rarely use a thumbnail based on the first clip. It's not clickbait if the content in the thumbnail is featured SOMEWHERE in the video. It doesn't have to be the beginning clip.

I got a ticket for doing the opposite. I was on the access road, saw traffic on the HWY was moving as i was at the accident scene, and decided to jump back in, as the access was also backed up. Most cops were facing the other way but one wasn't but luckily enough I was just given a warning. this was also on HWY 35 around new braunfels

Just a warning, just because another party admits guilt to you, it doesn't mean they will admit it to Insurance/Police.

Just happened to my girlfriend. Old lady pulls out the lot, T-boned my gf car. The older lady was so apologetic and said it was her fault. Gave us her info and everything.
The next day the insurance told us the old lady said it was my gf fault... like the most obvious crash and she STILL went home and lied to the insurance. Smh Pathetic people everywhere

A neighbor of mine backed his '87 Grand Marquis into his trailer and broke his right taillight. He didn't realize it and drove about a mile to a friend's house. His friend came running up to the car and told him it was on fire. Apparently, the broken light shorted out when he stepped on the brakes and caught the wiring on fire. They called the fire department and fortunately they were able to come quickly and extinguish the fire without too much damage. Fire was confined to the trunk, taillight area and bumper filler. The FD cut the remains of the wiring to the light and my neighbor was able to drive the car home. He eventually had the car fixed. It was almost 20 years old but had very low miles.
That sucks.
This almost happened to my coworker the other day, but with her turn signal. She said the signal itself was smoking inside whenever she used it 😭😭

I'm sure in his mind he was already ahead of the other driver and thus the cammer must yield (this is actually the law in Texas, you can switch lanes at turns). The problem and why this is insanely stupid thing to be legal is you can be blocked in the other lane and it's not something drivers can predict. So it basically means you must wait for other turning traffic. Which is what i always do in states that don't outlaw switching lanes. I was driving in another state where a main road had a feeder but it was painted not protected. I pull onto the road going about 45. I see a car but it's on the other side of the road 3 lanes over. They're going 80 or so and dive all the way over into my lane and honk at me so I shove back into the shoulder. Looking back he crossed over the painted double lines and crossed out road separating the feeder. You can't fix stupid.

The driver moving into the cammer's lane at 05:30 was a classic! Never speed past a line of waiting cars: someone can move in front of you or cross the waiting cars.
Kudos to the drivers who aren’t involved in the collision but stop anyway to help and share the footage. You guys are awesome citizens!

#4 is called a “Texit”. This usually happens as a direct result of TxDOT not installing an exit ramp where they should have. The drivers aren’t wrong, the road is.

I saw this on another video and people chastised me for the idea that maybe just ease off the gas a bit, a little defensive driving never hurt anyone. but people act like they'd just blast through the guy's car because they were in the right.

To be entirely fair, the other driver should not have made that wide ass turn like that. I have seen lther drivers turn right with a left signal, confusing a ton of others. I don't really blame the camera for thinking it was safe to go, black car lookes very commited to the right turn.

@tycameron1836 but to be fair a wide turn isn't illegal. They were still occupying the lane and signaled their intentions. Just because other people don't signal correctly doesn't mean everyone misuses it so you should disregard it and immediately go around.

I think the government should now enact a law that states if you have a registered car then when you pay your registration you also have to show them you have a valid license, no valid license then no registration.

@@MidwestRainstorms real problem is they did away Drivers Ed in School and so I think everyone just turns 16 and gets a handbook then takes the written test, then they just wait a few weeks and go take the test lying about how many real hours they have had with a licensed driver like required and then the DMV tester passes them when they should not because they want to push through as many people in a day that they can.
There are soooo many people in NY that don't drive or have licenses and never do. They rely on public transportation to be honest

New drivers in Italy would have a large white sticker with a black 'P' on the rear of their car. The vehicles were extremely limited in displacement/power, think Fiat 750 Panda; couldn't get into too much trouble. Good system.

1:18 - Typical Texas drivers. That's what you get for having so many access roads so close. Looking at it, the path is obviously used a lot, just pave it already.
I think I've seen that stretch of road before, unfortunately for the people using it at the time their was a cop coming up behind them.
What's the problem with bypassing traffic?
The whole design of the access roads means there's frequent connections to it to the main traffic road just it's minimized so there isn't so many conflicts. The drivers were just so impatient to drive a mile up the road.

Driving over the grass to exit really isn’t that bad long as you can do it safely. My biggest annoyance is having to wait at red lights when there’s literally nobody around for miles. N it’s just cycling.

#4 As a native Texan, can confirm we do this if traffic backs up too long. Yes it is illegal, but can't catch us all in groups. Heck, even the police do this sometimes because they don't want to sit in traffic either lol. They whoop their lights and sirens to look assertive, but they drive off. I have only seen one person ever pulled over for it, and of course it was a state trooper.
