Brilliant my man, great work. I plan to do this on my car very soon. Luckily the car came with the harnesses in the glovebox. Each side needs repair! I was worried about mangling the headliner, but this sorted my worries.
thank you very much .The wiring is broken in mine .The rear wiper and heater do no work and as far as I know it has been repaired at least twice previously (the previous owner used ordinary domestic wiring!) I bought the wiring harness and I will now look for a nice long piece of wood !
The right hand side harness is the tough one. My next attempt will be removing the round connector to pull it through from down to up with a steel wire

wish I'd seen this comment prior to the round connector getting stuck and stripped off... bloody thing is still some where in the hatch
Uh oh going to try to attempt this in the coming months , both sides need to be done on my wagon what do I need to look out for?
