I used to love baking so much. I would bake cupcakes for every event I went to. I wanted to bake cupcakes for my cousin Elizabeth's funeral in 2018, but my aunt Debbie said that it was a funeral, not a party. The cupcakes I was gonna bake were Elizabeth's favorite flavors, which were chocolate and red velvet. Elizabeth was only 36 years old when she died. I know, that is extremely young, right? She had breast cancer and was never getting any better. Elizabeth was never married and never had any children, but she loved children dearly and often talked to them. She also loved those big scary roller coasters, rock music, and the Celtic culture. She also loved cute babies, both human and animals. Anyway, back to baking. I baked all the time and it made me happy. But then, some jerk named Hidekun Hah said that baking and decorating pastries is a men only activity that women are never allowed to do. He threatens women and curses at them if he sees them baking. If I bake, I will have to dress and look like a boy. One time when I came downstairs at night to get a water bottle, I was wearing my Navy military hoodie and my youngest brother Jeremiah's old sweatpants that got too small for him. I also had the hood up because it was freezing inside my house. When I came downstairs, my mother mistook me for my other little brother Isaiah. I can wear that when I'm baking so I can be mistaken for a boy. I also need to take self-defense class, either karate, kung fu, or taekwondo. My cousin Josh used to take karate, so maybe he can teach me some moves. Or maybe I can learn some karate moves the next time I go for a walk. I need to protect myself from Hidekun Hah. He is a joy killer!

Thank you so much for the support and taking to time to leave a comment (especially a sweet one)! Yes, he can be so sweet and helpful, but he has his moments, too. 🤪 and yes, I will take any help I can get from either one of them. And when they fuss about having to help at times, my response is always that they cannot grow up, leave our house and not know basic skills to survive. Because mama won’t always be there to come do everything for them.
