Update ! It still works good! No issues, no fire. :)
You may want to solder those later on and use heat shrink bc with the heat and cold the electrical tape will fail. Also ive seen instances where using just electrical tape to hold together wires has created a heat buildup causing a fire. Possibly do this when its not so hot. Keep up the good work, and you just saved yourself $10 not getting a harness adapter. Congrats
