Elle Swies, I noticed that too. She does it quite a few times throughout the song, including the very last note. It was still beautiful and after watching the lesson, it was interesting to see what remembered and forgot to do.
Kat can sing anything, she just lacked confidence sometimes. The judges on AI worked very hard to undermine her confidence, at least it appeared so to me. Now she is married to her number one fan and supporter and she is finding her full potential. Wonderful talent, amazing voice, the sky is the limit. Just can't get enough Katharine, and she is just getting better and better.

Waitress100 bruh she just worked on Never Enough with Natalie Weiss and after watching this I can tell she took so much of Natalie’s advice. Crazy growth. She went back to some mediocre technique in the Never Enough performance and I also felt she was a bit disconnected from Andrea, but if she and Natalie keep working together she’s just gonna get better and better.
Heading Andrea Bocelli’s voice makes me so emotional ;-; as if I were looking back on a life fully lived. Katherine’s voice just makes me feel reborn. What a good pairing. Much appreciated.

She has since sang more songs that are more sultry or folky like Heart Shaped wreckage, some boys. She got the pipes for the song. I must have more faith in her more from now on. Yeah, she's almost never experimented with her upper register belting-wise. I really wish she could start allowing herself to belt higher, especially because the nature of her voice is high. She usually tops at Eb/E5, but I hope she starts developing from E5 and upwards, because she can and it would showcase the quality of her high voice. Technically speaking, she should start opening her vowels more, especially the closed ones, because she has a tendency of muffling them a little bit as she ascends the scale and ends up sounding a little nasal at times. Anyway, she's a very good singer with great sense of phrasing.

I'm supposed to hear them soon. I can see that it's going to be amazing. I know Foster's modus operandi is to make the music and let the singer get the attention, but they could still put him up on the big screen some. He's an important draw for the show.
Kat was cast in as the lead in a new Netflix show come February, so it is likely she will NOT be performing at some of the Foster shows due to filming. Maybe call the theater and double check!
