I observed here was, Filipinos really are way comfortable and natural in singing. Foreign singers, you can tell they're so technical conscious while singing live. They're over thinking about their voice technique while performing live. While Filipino singers just sing their heart out. Feeling the song and you can feel the emotion through their voice and physical expressions. Like they're in the zone. Like KZ Tandingan in Singer 2018 while she performs 'Say Something'. They're not worried about their voice going off pitch or anything, they just sing and feel the song. And as an audience you can feel the emotion. Maybe because foreign singers learn how to sing by having a vocal coach and the presence of studio. While Filipinos just sing anytime and anywhere by the time they know how to speak and singing along with anything in radio or TV. They mimick what they hear and add flavor on their own. Vocal coach is not a thing here in PH. Yes in TV shows like "The voice". But it's rare to hire a vocal coach and spend money for it.
Not every foreign singer is like this. It's just Katherine might be too tired of touring. A lot of foreign singers with gospel influence/background could outsing Filipinos. THEY STUDIED VOICE and that's set them apart from Filipino singers who think raw talent is enough to make them big.
