Your code has much nicer colours than mine, for both rust and python, am I missing some extension or something else? using vscode instead of vscodium. thanks!
LOL, I misinterpreted the title thinking this video would show how to import a Python module into Rust. But since we're talking about, Make it so. How to import python module into rust or vice versa.
Awesome video absolutely excellent and what I need. My only issue is for the life of me I cannot get code runner to work the way you do. The default works in the sense that It runs but it doesnt rebuild it after a change. I pasted your code verbatim and it simply says ‘$(basename was unexpected at this time’ I have absolutely no idea what the issue is I cannot find anything on the internet that is the same issue I’m totally lost.
You are right. It is Matrix network. You can install a client for it, called Riot and search for the Rust room or try accessing it through the browser here: matrix.to/#/!zXfJBqSUvXySmsZMtB:jki.re
Hey! Thanks. More to come for sure. I am just getting started. May I ask If you intended to do what you did yesterday? If there is a mistake, please let me know, and we can 'fix' it.
I like this kind of side-by-side coding comparisons. Nice video!
Rust is a good language. It really grows on you and it isn’t as hard as ppl make it out to be.
Thank you for this! Easier to transition from python to rust
You're welcome!
I loved this video! Thank you very much.

This is gold !
Waiting for part 2.
Would you consider using Rust Analiser in the next part? Also nice work
Not in upcoming videos. This is just intro stuff. Introducing extra layers will not help newbies.
If you dont mind me asking, what colour theme is this? it looks great :) thank you
Hey! Sorry for the late reply. My VSCode(ium) setup has changed since. I now use the default dark theme.

Ive been wanting to import files from compiled languages into python, not sure its possible but I want to
Pyo3 crate got you covered. Import Rust libraries from Python. Run Python code from Rust.
Same. I thought this was gonna be a video about how to use PyO3. I guess this is targeted at beginners so that's not a topic he's likely to cover.
@@mikefdorst I was searching for that as well. Now I'm just getting lazy and wanting to simply code everything in rust instead of python.
awsome tut !
Can we work with it, with Python AI libraries?

Are you on Windows by any chance?
I don't see a link for the rust community thing
