      @@Stitch72445 the brim can be the same, but if you want it longer you can add one more row of half double crochets all around!(:

    Total beginner here, if I wanted to make this larger, should I add more stitches in the magic circle? And then go on multiplying by 2 all the others, right?

      Hi! To make it bigger you just continue increasing at the top. So for example, we stopped increasing on the 4th stitch so to continue making it bigger you would then increase every 5th stitch on the next round and then every 6th stitch on the next round and so on so forth. I hope that makes sense!(:
      (So basically just keep everything the same and just increase at the top!)

    Could you explain how to do the first part? You did it so fast and even when I slow the video down I can not tell how you loop it with the magic circle. ( completely new to this, I just wanted to make something cute for my nephew to be)

      Basically add 1 sc to each row before increases so like 1hdc inc, 2hdc Inc, 3hdc Inc ,4hdc inc, 5hdc inc, until the base is big enough to fit your head

      Right i thought i did something wrong too but im sure its small on purpose, but I will just quadruple the recipe myself to make one honestly

      Maybe you're using the wrong hook and yarn size? I made one with ilty size 4 and a size 6 hook and it was perfect for a 0-3month baby

      Bucket hat
      Make a magic circle, chain 1,
      First round: do 2 half double crochet in each
      Second round: one half double crochet stitch in one and 2 half double crochet stitch in the next.
      Third round: one half double crochet in the first stitch and 2 half crochet in the third stitch.
      Fourth round: same as above but 2 half double in every fourth stitch.
      Fifth round: one half double crochet in all stitch until have good size.
      Second half-------
      Add different colour
      First and second round: one half double crochet in the first stitch and 2 half double crochet in the second stitch
      Third round: one half double crochet in every stitch and done!
      Ears
      Magic circle
      Chain one and make 6 half double crochet
      Chain one and 2 half double crochets in each chain.
      Chain one and cut off the yarn but leave enough yarn to sew into the hat.
