For those wanting to make an adult size this is what I did! I kept increasing until I got a stitch count of 64, followed that with 7 rows of 64, and then just followed the brim directions as stated in the video! It turned out great.
@@DemonicPretty I also had to figure this out. It's continuing the pattern of adding one more single hdc between each 2 hdc. Ie: 12, 112, 1112, 111 12, 111 112, 111 111 2, on and on. You'll increase each round by 8 stitches, which allows the circle to stay flat and even.
MG ring, chain 1, 8 hdc 2x hdc in each (16) 1 hdc, 2 hdc - rpt to end 1 hdc, 1 hdc, 2x hdc 1 hdc, 1 hdc, 1 hdc, 2 hdc (Until desired width) Brim 1 hdc, 2 hdc - rpt to end 1 hdc, 2 hdc - rpt to end 1 hdc all around Finish off by 2 sc, sl st, ch 1, tie off. Ears/horns Slip knot, leave long tail, ch 8 Sl st to chain 1, work in spiral round 6 rounds of sc 2 sc in next stitch, incr all around until reach marker (16) 1 sc all around (16) Finish off, sl st in next stitch, tie off. Attach horns/ears on 5th line from top of hat (or wherever)
@@alexandrareynoso8846 yah, bc you’re effectively shoving a bunch of stitches to force an increase to make the brim. I’d stretch it out, or increase by 1 hdc, 1 hdc, 2 hdc on the round after the (2x hdc in each stitch) round
So happy I found your content.❤️❤️ When you say repeat this all around do you mean that same stitch or repeat the whole pattern. I hope that question makes sense. Sorry I am new to crocheting 😅
Hi this hat is super cute i plan to make it for my little cousin can you please tell me what type of yarn have you used?? is it cotton or acryilic yarn ??
It doesn’t really matter just you might have to make it bigger/smaller depending on your hook Also I used a 4.5 mm instead and I liked the way it turned out
While doing the increase, I just placed the circle on my head to see if it would fit. Once I reached a number that seemed okay (I ended up doing 9 rounds of increases though I used a slightly thinner yarn) then do the length. Again, just try it on until the length is where you want it before adding the brim.

Thank you so much!!!
Thank you!!!
Thank you!
How exactly would I continue and adjust for an adult size? I stopped at the 5th round at 40 stitch count. I'm kind of a noob so I'm trying to learn>

not every hero wears a cape, Thank you
When doing the brim, it’s coming out very wavy/curly? Is that supposed to happen?

Hi! Yay, I’m so happy you’re here and no worries! When I say that, I mean to repeat the pattern all around. I hope that makes sense!💕🧶
Hi this hat is super cute i plan to make it for my little cousin can you please tell me what type of yarn have you used?? is it cotton or acryilic yarn ??
Hi❤
Do you suggest using acrylic or cotton for making the hat?
Because the hook size it’s big, and I’m afraid the cotton might be too thin for it
Hi ! I have a question do you count your ur stitch marker when you’re finding the total for each round ?
Like round 1 was 8 hdb
Round 2 was 16 hdb
no, you do not count the first 2 chains after you slipstitch/join the round
Are we allowed to sell the finished product?
Yes, but please give me credit!!☺️
Will it change it a lot if I change the hook sizes? All I have right now is a 6.5mm and a 5.5mm
should be fine as long as you have a good grip on your tension
It doesn’t really matter just you might have to make it bigger/smaller depending on your hook
Also I used a 4.5 mm instead and I liked the way it turned out
Is this a baby's hat? Mine turned out so small 😭
😅same
Hi! Yes, this hat will comfortably fit a baby with a 16 inch head circumference!☺️
Same. I thought it was supposed to be a bigger hat, I thought maybe I messed up but I didn't 😂
How can we make it in adult form?
Hi! What yarn do you use for this please?
Hi! All the materials I use are listed here!⬇️
