Sequester RHAP Season 1 (Live Recording, What I Saw)

- This is my recording of what I watched during the Sequester mini played by members of RHAP on April 3rd, 2020. I also edited in the score card into the corner, which I had up on my other monitor at the time.

There are many rooms to watch, and deciding what to listen to and when is half the fun. Some people like to stay still, while some prefer to jump around frequently, or even try to listen to multiple rooms at once (as you can see I am very much the latter). Unfortunately if you did not watch it live, you won't get to experience this fun, as the streams were not archived, so you're stuck watching me do it instead. Think of it like watching the poorly edited version of a reality show, compared to actually getting to watch the live feeds.
This was the first time Sequester tried streaming the rooms on Twitch instead of RUclips (due to some troll(s) abusing youtube's systems to get the streams taking down mid-game the last week, which could be avoid with Twitch), but unfortunately Twitch does not automatically save streams. This has been corrected for future online Sequester games and they will be archived on their respective Twitch channels.
I wasn't planning on uploading this, it was just recording for my own use. But someone asked me for this, so I figured some others might like to have at least some record of it, even if it isn't the ideal form. There are also various clips saved to the twitch channels, but no way to link those together.
And yes, I'm being optimistic and calling this Season 1. Hopefully we will have more, and hopefully they will be archived so you won't all be stuck watching my stupid decisions on what to listen to.

Rob is STUPID funny, like he hasn't lost it AT ALL. If Survivor ever invites him back and he actually says Yes, I can at least assure myself that it'll be a damn funny season when I see him back on my screen.

Thanks for posting this. I've loved spending my late afternoon and evening watching this while doing chores. I found it overwhelming trying to keep track of who was in the game and what was going on. It got easier around the final ten or so. I wasn't watching the screen and if I was that probably would have helped a lot. :-)

Thank you for uploading this! It was so fun to see all of these RHAP correspondents' faces! I didn't watch last season of big brother so I've been pretty out of it as far as the live feed updaters go, but when did Liana and Pooya get together?? I love it, they are adorable!

The way I was rooting for Rob, Pooya and Jenny hdhhdhd Rob was one of my faves he was entertaining but this was really a good season ‼️
Weirdly this was more game than the big brother sequester was alot of fun watching!! Queen jenny
yeees this was sooo good. and i watched the big brother one first. i think it's cause the rhapiers understood the game a lot better. but also the collection of twists on the big brother one were just really hard to strategise (especially when you dont have a brent and shannon playing) haha

@@AidensWorldCreativenessIsCool Sorry, that'd be too much. Right now they're pretty much doing a mini every Friday and every Saturday, typically with Sequester patrons. Those minis are still good (I watched all of one a few of weeks ago, and half of one the week after, they were both fun), but recording two of those a week is a lot of time, I'm sorry. So I just make a point to record these big important special ones that I know people will really want to see, like the RHAP one or the BBUSvsCAN one. And then there is still some editing and exporting and uploading too on top of that. I can't afford to do that twice a week, and even once a week might be a bit much. It's too bad though, there is some great stuff there getting lost.

@@AidensWorldCreativenessIsCool So it looks like the streams are being saved now, (for example, here is room 1 from last Saturday's game about 50 minutes into it: www.twitch.tv/videos/589646561?t=0h50m18s ) But that doesn't really help to sync them up and play together. Maybe there might be a better way of doing that to try to save each of them.

This is great. I watched live and had a delay with what Audrey said and the players’ reactions. Also had freezing in some rooms. But yours seemed good. Any tips for watching the next one without issues?
The best I can suggest for the delay is to refresh your streams every now and then. Both the youtube Audrey feed, and the twitch player feeds. As you watch you tend to get behind a little bit from small issues adding up. Unfortunately, there will still be a delay between when Audrey says something and when they react, because often times the players aren't refreshing the Audrey stream either, so that's just their natural delay as the show goes on. You can kind of see this in some the later parts of this recording.
Other than that, sorry no tips. Might just come down to how well your computer and internet can handle so much going on at once.

@@amandaleebee98 Not tonight. Those people would have signed up a few days ago, and then started playing like two hours ago. But you could next week.
I think all you need are a decent internet connection and a webcam. If you have any standard laptop you should be good to go. I think it all just runs off of Skype or something like that, so if you can Skype people you're good.

Unfortunately not. This was their first time trying it with Twitch, but they didn't know how to set Twitch up to archive it. This has been fixed so current and future Sequester minis will be saved. But this one has been lost, I'm sorry.

I really appreciate what they are going for with this but the whole thing is a massive cluster F, how does anyone enjoy it.
It's really something you have to watch live to fully experience because it's decently easy to navigate what's going on. It doesn't help that this person had an annoying habit of leaving two streams going at the same time.
i liked that about it actually. it gave me a more general view of what was going on. and i thought on the most part, ninto was focusing on the right conversations - as much as you can, given the cluster f ness of it all

Question, how do we know that the contestants aren’t looking at twitter or something on their phone while this is happening and getting the info on who is gunning for who?
You kind of just have to trust that they're not. There isn't any money on the line or anything, just pride and the game. There have been cases where someone has been reading chat or something, and chat is often quick to call someone out if they seem to knowledgeable or look like they're reading something while playing (they'll often also be wrong, but still). But for the most part you just don't worry about it and enjoy the game.

@2:25:23 ~ So what the heck is going on between Brent and the male moderator at this time stamp? If I’m understanding Brent correctly though, I think it makes sense what Brent is saying. And just several minutes later I saw five people in a room and that’s when the moderator said the room is over limit. Maybe room two was working wrong because of some setting by the moderator where the fifth person was coming in as hidden, and that’s what Brent was griping about. I’m not completely sure.
