  • Top-down furling provides a new level of simplicity, safety and speed for handling of soft luff sails such as asymmetric spinnakers and gennakers. Anyone can now store, deploy and retrieve these sails as simply as they would a furling headsail from the safety and convenience of the cockpit.
Ronstan furlers are available with top-down adapters or in dedicated top-down models with practical accessories such as top swivel lashing pins to provide the perfect solution.

How do you ensure the sheets are not a half a turn out of sync between putting the sail away and rehoisting it the next sailing day ?

where do you get the torsion rope and how is it attached to the two ends...?

      Hi Norris,
The torsion rope should be available from your local rigger or sailmaker. Ideally use something like Robline GFLU www.roblineropes.com/en/products/sailmaker/product/detail/gfl-ultra/. The rigger will be able to make the cable to suit your boat using the appropriate termination method.
      Best regards,
      Ronstan
