    What does it mean "take off clearance flying without AP"? Does it mean you fly the whole sector without AP? Was the AP inop or something? Regardless of the reason, your airline is pretty damn cool to let their pilots hand-flying more often.

      Yes. I was pilot flying. So I took off and flew manually. Personally I like to do it. Then I engaged the autopilot right before we were reaching 10,000 ft AGL as our airline policy says so. The same for landing. I disconnect the AP when the conditions or weather permit and also before reaching minimums MDA.
