This is an awesome video series you got going. Are you going to cover the wiring in the car? This is an awesome way to convert without having ugly gauges thrown in everywhere. Going to do this on my 73 powerwagon.
Thanks, got about 3 videos more to finish editing and will post soon. I haven't thought about the wiring yet as I have just bypassed the ammeter for now by using a connector. I'll have to bypass the bulkhead connection too or this work was all for naught.
@@retireready7090 Yeah from what I can tell you just take a wire straight from the alternator to starter relay? that way bypassing the bulkhead all together. Not sure about how to get the voltmeter to read though.
I don't think it's quite that easy, at least not with my car as the wires have to pick up the load of the fuse box and ignition load. My email is in the description, I have a couple pictures that explain everything if your interested.

Where did you purchase the print circuit board from?
The board is the guts from a bosch voltmeter, see part 1 and 2
