Here in this upload, UG says something uncharacteristic of him. Normally he says there's no such thing as the unknown, that it doesn't exist.
But here in this clip he says that there's a consciousness so immense that you can't know it. Isn't that what all those other spiritual teachers and gurus say too? They all imply that there is an unknown. UG always denied that except in this audio clip.

Hello sir,
U.G. once said of Rudolf Steiner that, "I knew him very well . . . we never got along well", but Steiner died when U.G. was a boy of just six years of age.
Why did U.G. lie about this?

You heard wrong because the interviewer mentions Rudolf but U.G. says and refers to Jiddu Krishnamurti ("J Krishnamurti who started so many schools...") and refers to him as the one he knew. No lying.
