WHY RTX 50 Is Skipping Computex | HUGE Arrow Lake Spec Leak
As we approach Computex 2024, ASUS have had their plans LEAKED - Confirming that Nvidia will NOT be unveiling RTX 50 Blackwell GPUs at Computex 2024 - but WHY is RTX 50 skipping Computex 2024? Join us as we examine WHY Nvidia will not be revealing their next gen graphics cards at Computex, and also what we've been hearing about the release date plans for the cards, the specs and architecture improvements, and more.
We also have a HUGE update on the specifications for Intel Arrow Lake CPUs, as we have some VERY interesting leaks on the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K ARL desktop processor, which includes details on the clock speed, core and thread count and what this leaked clock speed means - if it's accurate to the final chip.

video at 1.5x speed squad🙄👇👇
3x squad is way better
@Zucr_ it doesn't exist 😂.
3x would be overkill tho . 1.5 x is the sweet spot
WHAT U ARE CRAZY I AM MORE LIKE 0.75 LOLOL
@@jeofthevirtuoussand It is situational if they don't speak clear or have a bad mic 1.5x is perfect. But for those who speak clearly or/and slowly 3-4x is very much a good option.
Also 3x does exists you can use a extension I use one called "Video Speed Controller" it has some nice hot keys so I can dynamically change it on the fly.
secondly you can use a console command:
press F12 and select console enter the below with whatever seed you want.
document.getElementsByTagName("video")[0].playbackRate = 3.12
Generally speaking its a bad idea to insert commands that others send to you into a console so do make sure you understand this(or any command) someone sends you.
1.5x yoooooo
Here I am with my GTX 1080ti.
Same here, I am waiting for 200% more performance for the same money.
But my display can only run 90hz, so I can run most games on medium-high still.
GOAT GPU! 🥇
@@stennan Yeah, I play at 1440P, with a 144Hz monitor. There's no game I want to play, that I can't play using it, even though a lot of newer games won't get anywhere near 144Hz with it. The only reason for me to upgrade is to use DaVinci Resolve, but then I'd need to upgrade my 3930K, MB, and Memory. I'm still using PowerDirector 16 and don't have enough time or money to do anything bigger than small projects, anyway. It's been fun seeing how long I can get away with not upgrading, when I had been upgrading almost every other year before my current rig for 6 years.
Yeh me to, but I am finally having to consider upgrading got a game that's running at 24FPS not because the GPU doesn't have enough FLOPS but it's lacking support for new features.
The Goat of gpus. I remember my 1080ti ftw hybrid was able to get 60 fps in Metro exodus at 3440x1440p at maximum settings Minus RT. That game looks better than some games coming out today 5 years later.
Same for me but 1080
so glad to have Kermit the frog keep us so up to date!

Im going from a 1080 to 5090.. expecting a big jump!
It will only be a very small bump. I would stick with the 1080.
@@tstager1978 you got to be trolling haha
@@lolEnlightenmentlol lol!
If you are not planning to play with rt the 7900xtx will give you a massive performance jump at a fraction of the cost. Also if you are not going to play at 4k 240hz you are going to waste your money. Lastly Hardware Unboxed just shown cpu bottleneck video at 4k comparing r5 3600 vs 7800X3D at 4k with 4090. You will need to upgrade your cpu that was coupled with that 1080 as well.

Is that enjoyable? 40 series would feel better with those curves
Still a competent GPU for many great games
problem is, it doesn't have UEFI support so if you get a new motherboard you won't be able to see anything in the BIOS setup screen unless you borrow another card to enable legacy mode.
I jump 1 gen normally, this time 2 due to cost so im on 2080ti at moment, im waiting for 5090
Same here
I went from a 1080 TI to a 3080 TI and that wasn't much of a jump for 1440p even with a CPU that's not bottlenecked
People don't upgrade GPUs every generation. Not even every other generation. Unless you are made of money and always want to Play newest games on highest settings there is no point

Computer stores for DIY builders are still a thing in parts of the US. You would love going into a Micro Center.
Here's what Nvidia did: when they got backlash over the 4080 12gb and canceled it they restructured 4050 to the 4060 (its a 107 die with less cores than 3060??) And basically lowered the quality of all cards a half to full tier.
Nvidia makes so much AI money now they just don't care. Until more people ACTUALLY buy AMD GPUs in enough quantity to teach Nvidia a lesson, we'll keep getting the shaft gen after gen on the low end and mid range (I'm guilty too, I have a 6800 GPU but bought a 4060 laptop for work)
They will also figure out something like cutting memory bus to make lower tier cards perform relatively worse at higher resolutions.
People buy nvidia gpus bc they want good gpus they're not going to buy crap amd gpus to "teach nvidia a lesson" to lower the prices on the GPUs they ACTUALLY want. 😂 thats the most stupid logic i ever heard. People want nvidia gpu's thats why they will just buy the last gen which is why most people are on 3060s and 3070s per steam survey.
@@rodiculous9464 you are both right, gamers, being degenerate fanboys, will keep getting safted gen after gen in low and midrange.
@rodiculous9464 I have bought GPUs for over 20yrs at this point. Back in the ATi and 3dFX days. I spent a long time of that thinking AMD cards were the "crap" option. But I'm encouraging buying last gen (Nvidia or AMD or Intel) OR AMD on the low end. Their price to performance and VRAM is just better the last two generations. See how well the 3070 aged? I want competition because without it there is stagnation, like what we see in the sub $500 GPU Market.
There's no such thing as a "bad GPU" (aside from very rare cases) only bad prices. I got my 6800 instead of the 3070 I planned to get due to pandemic pricing. Watch the several videos hardware unboxed did comparing the two. Professional reviewers agree, Nvidia cheaps out on VRAM amounts lately.
At the high end Nvidia takes the prize, but not everyone wants to drop 2 grand on a 4090.
@rodiculous9464 And to be clear, I'm referring to buying the better value, which at the low to mid range has been AMD on and off for some time now.
I'm not telling people to buy an RX 6500XT instead of a 4080 here man. I'm saying as a former "Nvidia only" card purchaser for almost a decade, I was blown away switching to the RX6800. I got it because the 3070 at the time was over $1200 and the 6800 had just hit $600. I thought I made the wrong choice but in the end I was quite surprised. AMD came through on the 6000 series. I'm not happy with the low end 7000 series but the mid to high range is decent on both 7800XT/GRE and 4070 Super BUT the prices are still bullshit. That's not gonna change either. It sucks that high end PC gaming costs so frigging much nowadays. We need more competition.
I had a 2080Ti and I still got a 3090, I skipped the 40 series because of the connector issues, I wasn't going to take a chance on a connector failure, I'm looking forward to what the 50 series can offer me.
I will be interested to see if the 50 Series will adopt the new connector that seems to melt on 4090's.
I bet yah, you can count on that, it still will be that same f*,king connector, the difference is the 5090 connector will blow your PC sky high🤣🤣 evaporates it
Yes they have already said the are. It's the revised version hvp2x2 or something like that. It burns too!
No way is nvidia admitting a mistake.
Reason I may hold off is display port update with the 50 series. Was put off greatly with the 40 series only having 1.4. Amd were much more generous last time round.
I have a 2080ti and I am looking at Blackwell for an upgrade but I have a 5900x and I don't want to upgrade till AM6 so I'm wondering how much PCIe 4 will have an affect on a PCIe Blackwell card.
I still think 13th Gen and 14th Gen needs to be reviewed again
when was the last time brand new geforce with brand new architecture being launched in event like CES or Computex?
Had 2 unstable 13900k's back to back
if the e cores are primary instead of the p cores like on the lga1700 cpus then the perf regression will be there like on the meteorlake.
That's not how it's scheduled in gaming and there's no low power ecores on it anyway which is what it starts on in meteor lake, NOT regular ecores. Meteor lake is just garbage
At least mention Intels new Backside Power Delivery (PowerVia)... a lot less heat build up, more cores can be run at turbo clocks, etc.
Intel CPU's would have to match AMD performance and power usage before I'll consider switching to them. Possible, but it doesn't seem likely anytime soon. I definitely want a 5080 and I'm hoping they are out this year. Thumbs up for great videos!
That will be $1500 sir , lol, stop chasing fps dude .
At this point, Intel would be happy with a 10 -15% bump in avg overall performance, while also improving pwr usage and stability. It's gonna be hard enough just getting people to buy another motherboard for anything less than that. They're certain fanboys will come thru for them again.
I think the average gamer (I was one when I bought my first gaming pc). I looked at the options on a couple pc building sites and googled which CPUs were doing well in benchmarks and settled on the 3770k. Turned out to be a solid pick and it played nice with my gtx 770.
If I were NVIDIA, I’d aim for 15% rasterization improvement. Then go for a 50% improvement in ray/path tracing.
They’re pushing enough FPS in the high end cards. Then ray tracing rips into your FPS hard.
No it is not even adequate for UE5 games
thst wouldn't be ideal. i do agree that they should prioritise ray tracing but not with a only a 15% increase in raster. maybe 30-40% instead of 50-60% like we got with the last few gens. i dont think the 5080 will get a big jump this time around. enough to put it slightly ahead of the 4090 in raster but hopefully atleast 30% ahead in ray tracing at least
The new motherboard issue is a problem with AMD too. A lot of us are still on AM4 and need to upgrade, so we'll need a new board either way.
Sounds like Arrow Lake won't even match the 7800X3D. I hope that's not true.
lmfao says who? The 13900k is 5% behind rn. U think it won't be 5% faster? Btw hyper threading, especially on Intel WORSENS gaming performance. It eats up cache, can't out perform the overhead of spawning another thread in a game bcuz it's so weak 90% of the time and it increases latency.
@@Frozoken ARL doesn't only need to get faster. It also needs to triple efficiency and cut costs in half just to match the 7800X3D.
Not even thinking about the 9800X3D also being released first.
I know Intel has their hands full, but I hope they keep working on GPUs. In five or so years, I recon they can have a top tier entry.
070 ti super will be good enough till the rtx 7000-8000 series
Keep your hand still.
Definitely going amd 9800x 3d and 5090 this year. Was going to get a ps5 pro but after this helldivers mess im going to stsy away from them.
A new MB platform for Intel is kinda weird right now anyway. Since lets be honestly Nova Lake is gonna be the soonest where people are genuinely interested in Intel mid-high end and I dont think this will be compatible. I mean maybe I am wrong about this but a 3 year platform wouldnt make sense either wouldnt it? Its all over the place with Intel atm.
Is it just me or does his bumper music remind you of the 4 Horrsemen theme from WCW?
Holy shit when did you get ripped?
1060 3GB -> 4070 Super 12GB. I'm good for the next 1/2 decades, at least.
Are WhoKeys alright? They're pushed so much in ads that i tend to actively avoid it
I often ask the same question. All the RUclipsers run ads for them but how many have bought a copy of Windows with them that is genuine?
I tried buying from them and I got a key that worked. However, I've seen ppl say that codes they bought on the cheap from other sites stopped working after a while. So I'm ll have to see if the key holds up in the future :p
they can also skip the release too
Still using GTX 1070
I'm not fanboy of any brand but I'm a little concened about the possible issues with errorlake as intel's been having plenty of issues as of late. Then there is power that the 5080 will draw - might be enough to make the fires they create more serious - and you might not hear the conflagration over the sound of the hairdryer fans required to cool it. AMD seems to have the better processors coming although we'll have to see the power draw on them. Their video cards though are pretty sad though - I think their mantra is it's OK not to try for #1, that's a lot of work.
scratched my head looking at AMD releasing 8800 xt in december(?). if so what is the thought process, GPU`s for christmas? people largely imo build/spend on their rigs after the summer, say give or take september. santa rarely carry PC components
Depending on the price of the 5090 I will buy it by selling the 4090.
Also depending on how big the jump will be.
If you're gonna wait for a 5090 announcement to make a decision , the moment it gets announced, the 4090 price will dive hard. Sell your 4090 for a good price while you still can and get by a couple of months with a 3060 or something.
Haha. I see rtx2080 ti scenario again , people panicked and sold it for $500 , when rtx3070 was as fast for $500 , but then pandemic hit , GPU prices skyrocket, rtx3070 was selling for $1250.00, so many regretted selling rtx2080ti for $500.
Stop chasing fps your problem solved , just hold on to what you already have a good GPU , why always chase the next fastest ? Just why ? And pay early adopters prices , rtx5090 won't be less then $2000.00 , or more , fanboys are funny.

I'm planning to get a 5090 at launch. I bought in late to a 3080ti when 3080s and 3090s were going for 2-3K. I still got scalped pretty hard, and then the 4090 launched 10 months later at a lower price than I paid for my 3080ti. New generation every 2 years. Like I just don't understand what anyone else is reporting or arguing about

the reason Nvidia is gonna announce at computex is as AMD will as well. Why would i buy a 40 series mid range when if i wait a few months i could get a AMD card that blows it out the water? if NV do nothing and does not show a really impressive card for us it means we cant extrapolate all the other performance details for the mid range 80's and 70's. then it would give AMD free reign for the mid range market where people will go ok AMD i'll buy. Nvidia has nothing to offer but is they show something it makes people more likely to consider waiting for something better.
except that's not how nvidia do things. i still remember back in 2016 AMD end up showing polaris in CES. nvidia show nothing at all about their next gen GPU. then people start speculating how pascal is in trouble and AMD will have the upper hand this time. in the end we know how that ends when nvidia launch 1080 and 1070 AMD only have 480 that compete with 1060. Vega did not launch a year after that. heck even 1080Ti come out a few month ahead of vega.

5090's release date is Q4 2024.
Honestly I don't think it will be October.
If it does likely to be mid or end October.
But I believe it will be in November 10-24th.
5080 will be released around/before Christmas.
Note: if 5090 doesn't release in Oct/Nov..
Then it's likely to be delayed so 5090 around xmas.
5080 then will be released in Q1 2025 in end jan/begin feb.
I may have bad news about the 5090.. it's too pricey!!
It's confirmed that GB202 uses same die as GB102.
Meaning just like the data center Blackwell GPU,
that Jensen showed, it has two or dual GPU dies.
This means the 5090's price is ridiculously high.
It's not $1799 or $1999 as people expected,
but in fact much higher closer to $2799-$2999.
I believe Kopite7kimi was the one who said it's 512 bit
and due to that this dual GPU dies makes kinda sense.
But if this is accurate 5090 being 512 bit bus, this
means that 5080 also jumps from 256>384 bit bus.
But no 5090 will not have any lower performance or whatsoever
it's huge waste if they have a powerful chip but limit it's performance.
So this means 5080 could become the new 90 tier card.
5090 48GB GDDR7
5080 24GB GDDR7
5070 16GB GDDR7
5060 12GB GDDR7
Depending on how expensive new GDDR7 memory would be..
5090 48GB GDDR7
5080 Ti 24GB GDDR7
5080 20GB GDDR7
5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7
5070 12GB GDDR6X
5060 Ti 16GB GDDR7
5060 12GB GDDR6X
4090 will be slightly slower then 5070Ti in rasterization
for newer AAA games and much slower in raytracing.
If you are looking for a card to beat the 4090 go for 5070 Ti.
If you are looking for a card to almost beat 4090 it is 5070.
If you want a card to be almost twice as fast as 4090 it's 5080.
If you want a card to be three times as fast as 4090 it's 5090.
5070 would be 8 - 13% slower then 4090.
5070 Ti would be 10-15% faster then 4090 (basically a 4090 Ti).
5080 would be 30-35% faster then 4090.
5080 Ti would be 35-38% faster then 4090.
5090 would be 58-80% faster then 4090.
- Performance Percentage (minimum - maximum).
It's been leaked that they aren't using 3GB memory chips yet.
Thanks for wasting time once again.....
nice job losing weight and exercising.
i'm most interested in the 5080. We all know the 5090 will probably increase in price even more. but i have high hopes for the 5080.
They know $1,200 was too much, so i think they'll give us less of an upgrade in raster and ram and price it at $999.
around or slightly better in raster then the 4090, but with maybe a 30% increase in ray tracing and 16gb Vram once to keep the prices down. seems realistic enough and its what i'd do. if they try again with $1,200 it will flop again imo. I'd just skip it and wait for RDNA5
First
Nowhere have they called it the 5000 series yet. So stop calling it that. There is more then a small chance it won't be called that since there are 3 other GPU's 1 from NV that have that name, and its also stupid to keep going with it some more NV gpu's have 6k-9k already used too,.
