It’s been my experience that affluent men prefer fresh citrus clean scents on women, the younger men prefer sweet. Personally I love the fresh clean scents, wish more you tubers did videos on them.

This is what I’ve been wondering lately actually so thank you for this content. My husband likes some sweet scents but finds most too much. He much prefers fresh scents! His favorite is Flowerbomb which is a mix of both which is unfortunate for me haha🙃

Affluent western white men more specifically
I literally spray Light Blue intense on me after the shower before I go to work and it lasts until evening hours. It's absolutely amazing, high quality fragrance. I live in a very hot climate and what strikes me as strange is that nobody wears it here! All I can smell is Black Opium and Ariana Grande's Cloud even in this crazy heat and I am talking about 40+ degrees Celsius!!! Awesome suggestions.

I normally don't go for fresh citrus scents but Versace Versence is one of my absolute favourites 💚

Acqua di Goia has a special place in my heart. It was one of my first fragrances ever, as I got it as a present for my 15th birthday 🥺.... time flies!
Finally!!!! Someone talks about Aqua Di Gioia. One of my favorite fresh & clean fragances.
The original Acqua di gio that came out in 90s along with men's acqua di gio is my first ever perfume love and continues to be the my favourite fresh scent. Sadly it was discontinued about 8 years ago but it can still be found online and in duty free shops. Please try it if you get the chance. It is actually really long lasting and quite boozy citrus/floral with quite a lot of vodka.
Versace Versense 💕 I actually prefer this one to Chanel Eau Fraîche.

I am glad you talked about Dior Homme Sport. I had been meaning to request clean and sporty fragrances, as most of the perfume youtubers I watch love gourmand scents. But I sorta wanna smell like a boy lol
I love love by Mochino could be a good option as well. Versace Versense took me a couple years to like , wear and now it’s a love. I bought a few bottles last year when I found out it was discontinued. It’s my summer signature scent.

You have to try the Ocean De Gio ! 😍😍 I can just drown myself in it!! Super clean , slightly sweet. Was going to buy Bubble bath by Replica but liked this more.
You mention Dior Homme Sport as a freshie for woman. I never thought I would wear a man's fragrance until I came across Chanel Sycamore in the Exclusifs line. To me it is so wonderfully fresh, not with citrus but with vetiver, cypress, and juniper. I love it, but it's expensive, and I wouldn't blind buy. It would be worth it to sample!!

I like Ô de Lancôme, most of the fresh flankers of Angel (eau croisière) and Alien (eau extraordinaire and eau sublime) and Versace Yellow Crystal (the only bottle I ever emptied) 🙂
Versace is such a good house. Great fragrances, pretty bottles, and good prices. I used to have Versace Versense and it’s very nice (definitely unisex). Versace Yellow Diamond is one of my favorites. 💛

The channel as that channel vibe and is like floral/citrus and more woody...the Versence is more charp on the citrus notes and clean , the woody notes are very soft👌
I just purchased Angel Nova and can see it as a wonderful warm weather fragrance (I'm currently in the dead of winter). It smells more like a juicy raspberry flanker of the current EDT than the EDP. I love the 2019 EDT for warm weather.

Lanvin Girl In Capri is good. The other alternative is Chopard Lemon Dulci.
Paulina perfect collection. We have warm winder and we wanted to hear about fresh perfumes. To dream the hot weather. (I don't like so much the hot summer. ) My favourite fresh perfume is O de Lancome. Ilike Versace Bright Cristal and i want to buy the Versence.I dont know at all Eros. I like and i have it for years Bronze Goddess Estee Lauder and i like so much Happy Heart Clinique. You are fresh too.
I love Bronze Goddess! Honestly, I wish it had more coconut in it bc I tend to think the Jasmine is slightly overpowering. But I love it. In the summer, they bring out the shimmering body spray as well, and it has awesome coconut in it. Layering it with the skin scent perfume would be PERFECTION, I'm sure.

Was very surprised when I saw Thierry Mugler in this compilation. I’ve ordered a sample and I honestly can’t say that it’s a fresh or a clean scent. Beautiful- yes, but it’s that type that can give you a headache if you’re a fresh-scent lover.
My current favorite fresh scents are dg light blue and dkny fresh blossoms. So good. ❇️💮🌼♥️

I totally agree! I tried Dior Addict II that looked like the Eau Fraiche one in the pink bottle. It is indeed magical! Completely different to Dior Addict. Bright crystal has a very similar vibe but doesn't last as long as Dior :( Both beautiful summer scents :) I've heard very good things about Versence too :)

Great video! I love that you mixed it up with high/low fragrances (very considerate!). I have a sample of TF Neroli Portofino and you're right - very light. Great tip to try the Forte for longer lasting power. Also LOVE Versace Eros Por Femme! Great compliment-getter. Love the citrus/woody combo and lastly you are responsible for me trying the Jardin Sur Le Nil - love it! Will get larger bottle this season😊✌
Great picks :) I just recently rediscovered a favourite from my teens that i used to love and felt it was unique and special (i was actually never a big fan of fresh or citrusy scents), it is L’Eau par Kenzo. Interesting that i havent seen anyone mention it although i think its very nice.

Hey Paulina, thank you much for these great suggestions, looks like I will be set for summer in time. Also I had a request, I was think if you could do a video some time on perfumes that are close to Jo Malone fragrances. Both of us have a love hate relationship with JM, hence I was thinking if you could suggest some non JM perfumes that are close to JM fragrances. Example some thing close to orange blossom from JM or wild blueberry from JM or any other fragrance of Jo's. They are all gorgeous but don't last and is a killer for the money. Much love.
It’s so funny you say Chanel Chance Eau Tendre doesn’t last on you but Eau Fraiche does! I get the total opposite, just got my hands on Fraiche and can only smell it on myself a few hours tops with several sprays, while Tendre lasts all day with only one spray!

Glow is a rip-off of China Rain. J.Lo made a blatant attempt of replicating it. If you can get your hands on CR, I'd highly recommend it. It has a less synthetic feel than Glow.
