Absolutely fantastic first hand look at a Tomica shop. The selection is humongous. The tomica selections on toy stores in Southeast Asia does not compare. One suggestion is when panning the camcorder is to do it a little slower so we can see the cars clearly.

mainly only collect TLVs but darn the custom assembly is so cool, experiences like that is how physical store can differs from online, not just warehouse on a shelf.
It wasn't so crowded when I went last Dec. But still a good place to start and yes, the TLV series is not cheap there.

I wish tomica sells their products in US and Canada everywhere like Hot Wheels do. The Tomica shop is a haven for poeple who collecting Tomica. I wish I can go there too.

Oh btw if u looking for other takara Tomy stuff such as metacolle u mention u can look at other places other than Tomica shop the price may be better. U can search for TOP 10 Diecast shop in Tokyo for my video with maps and u may get cheaper at places such as yodobashi cheers :)
