It sounds like a guy trying to appear tough by telling people to fight him or else they're pussies. When you hear Blood eagle you truly get an impression that it's about a guy torturing his victim out of revenge, when you hear this song it sounds like a boomer tough guy at the bar as another comment said
Honestly not really digging this one, the lyrics are less silly but charming viking larp and more "boomer tough guy at the bar" and the way that combines with the fact the whole song rides on one melodic idea makes it really fall flat.
@@eladrio2311 yeah it’s a really bad sign for the album, I’m hoping it’s just their try hard “dark and brutal” song, which it’s honestly neither of those things, but it’s clear they are going for it and I just don’t think they know how to do that as well anymore. Put your back into the oar leans into what they’ve been doing well as of recent and I think it works and is a great song. To be fair berserker had skoll and hati which I think is soooooo boring and baseline Amon Amarth in the worst way, so there is still hope for the album cause majority of berserker kicked ass…….. but skoll and hati wasn’t a damn single so…….
