Damn - I'm now not suprised anymore why they call all Inline-5 engines and most certainly the ones Volvo makes "baby-V10"
Yes people in my neighbourhood still think i have something like audi v10 under the hood when i start my v70 t5. 2,5" straight pipe. Not loud or obnoxious, the turbo makes it really smooth sounding. This is my second t5. Really great cars, they wont rust, really minor problems like centerlock not working properly all the time, and window motors tend to bust after like 250k miles or so. Mass air flow sensor is only thing that failed on my old t5. Just switched my s60 to v70 because i wanted a wagon, and a manual. And s60 had already 430tkm(267k miles)
This v70 I have now only has 130k miles, everything works, engine looks brand new when I looked inside of it with endoscope from spark plug holes, oil drain etc. Its original red with limo tint windows, black 5 spoke wheels, and lowered slightly. (They are pretty low cars with og suspension tho) black leather interior. Just love it.
I have read about your car on a few forums love the coilovers perfect stance an also the exhaust note. I have a few T5s and finally got my hands on a 2010 V50 AWD so I am looking to follow a similar path of upgrades as you. As these are so rare if you still have the car let me know would be useful so know a like minded owner!
Yes car is still in the family, doubt it will ever be sold tbh
hoends totally like a gallardo or something V10 plan to buy the diesel version one day when I actually have some bit of money

Hello What Year is this car from it does not have the face lift. but it has the Polestare tuning logo. what I know its only the cars from 2007 and beond that was abel to get the Polestar tune. or am I wrong. Because I have a v50 T5 from 2006. and I ask my dealer that I woude like to have this original tune. and he sad it was not posebel. did I miss somthing. ? I

take off real muffler the sound will be so good that youve never heard
v50 t5 was my first car. i loved it until the engine broke. then i bought a bmw e91 330d which had much more power than my volvo (it was tuned to 300hp instead of stock 231hp) and was much funnier to drive. it also sounded pretty good with a straight pipe.
Just last month i bought another car. a bmw m135i with awd/xdrive + stage 1 tune which got about 50 hp more than my old 330d and its also much lighter = very fast car.
im thinking about buying a v50 t5 again though. because now i have a job and i can afford the most expensive used v50 t5 in my country lol

how many mm/inches are your tips? 90mm or 100?
