I think in a season where Decked Out 2 doesn't exist/count (because that's not a build, that's an Entirely New Game), the Nether Hub is your crowning achievement, and might be my favorite build of the entire server. Using the nether stars as actual stars along with the beacon, the grandness of the library - it completely transformed the feeling of the Nether, and even seeing people fly by it on the outside feels like a monumental thing. I can't wait to see what you make next. Thank you for Season 9.

Scarland, The Perimeter, Pearl's or Bdubs' base, etc etc etc... And you are choosing the Nether Hub??? Don't get me wrong, I absolutwly love how it turned out, I think it's absolutely amazing and love evry part of it, but with all that has been made this season, I'd say your favourite might be a bit much...

I'm glad to hear about some of your favorites as well, even if my answer remains the same. I like the Nether hub's Astral Library theming because I think both space and libraries are really cool; that doesn't take away from anything anyone else built, you know?

I do hope you, and all the Hermits, stop thinking you have to top anything you’ve done, and remember DIFFERENT and FUN-WITH-FRIENDS are amazing goals. While the pandemic magnified the need for your talents, it has always been there, and still exists. Thank you.

It’s so nuts how a little thing like the INSANE nether hub has been dwarfed by the masterpiece that is decked out. You’ve knocked it clean out of the park and into low earth orbit this season Tango, so pleased for you. Now have a nice Christmas, see you back for season 10 :)
Beef and Tango were the true MVPs this season with their "mini" games. Also honorable mention to Jevin for that amazing Egg Hunt at the start.

You know, the redstone is the obvious star behind DO2, but I'd like to draw attention to the builds that were the levels themselves! The detail, the palettes, the themes, the design, the AESTHETIC was so incredible!
And don't forget the sound design!
The design of the do2 castle itself was insane too. Perfectly fit the vibe of the game.

I just want to comment that I appreciate it a lot when hermits do a season farewell video. Some hermits get burned out and the season just kind of ends, but this kind of video packaging it all together is really heartwarming. Cheers, Tango!
Season 9 was incredable and the finale to decked out 2 was the perfect way to send off the season!
absolutely! I'd also recommend watching Ren's PoV for the boat racing as well though as it feels like the final dessert to the 9-course meal that was season 9 :'D

Let's be honest, it was not. So many things were left halfway done... But there's nothing that can be done now... It was an absolutely unbelievable season.
tango, this has truly been your season. when people say hermits make incredible things, it automatically makes me think of you and how high you've set the standards when it comes to smps. you've outdone yourself with everything. builds, content, games. Just an amazing player in an amazing season. Glad we were here to witness this.

And most importantly their amazing work for the charity where they and you viewers absolutely smashed it. That's the most amazing thing i remember from this season.
It will be difficult to top Season 9; it was really quite perfect. Everyone got past their "starter" phase just in time for the cross-over; the cross-over wrapped up just about the time TCG was ready to go, and that gave you just enough time to roll out Decked Out.
Thank you to you and all of the hermits and Empires crew that made this my favorite season of Hermitcraft ever.

I legit forgot the cross over was this season, the season was incredibly long!
Exactly. This season had a billion things in it. There were the tower wars, iirc, that got torn down. There was the Nether Hub, and then the whole inflation thing with the diamonds, Ren became King, they had a battle, and this led to the cross-over through Grian's rift, and then after that we got TCG and DO2. I feel like a lot of people forget a lot of the earlier stuff, especially the King Ren stuff!
This is why I think Season 9 is the best and biggest Hermitcraft Season thus far.
Tango is seriously underrated as a builder. He doesn't use crazy block palettes or anything, but the creativity is off the charts. The Frozen Citadel, Astral Library, DO2 level design, and even the season 7 Toon Towers all have so much character to them. I'm super excited for season 10!

“Grew a lot as a builder”???!! The citadel, together with the inside of the dungeon, is literally one of the most impressive and beautiful builds on HC ever. It’s been an honour my man. You and Scar have been the two hermits for whom I always dropped everything whenever you uploaded. I rarely missed a stream and you became my first ever sub on twitch. I’m curious what the future holds and wish you some well deserved rest. The grind was real, see ya later
S9 was a great season across the board (TCG, Total Chaos, Scarland, Pearl's Alien biome, Gem's Elven Village, The Perimeter, Zedvancements, Bdubs Adventures, Horse Course, Blood on the Watchtower, Gemislay killing Etho, the Grand Prix, etc, etc, etc, etc). And DO2 was the pinnacle. What an incredible achievement that game is.

Oh absolutely. I know I'm forgetting a ton, just because soooo much happened. The Ghast prank was hilarious. So was Cub just building in Scar's basement. And I totally forgot The Rift crossover event. Tango's nether hub was perfect. Scar & Grian scaring the crap outta Cleo dressed up as creepers. The birth of the celebrity that is Hot Guy, including an amazing Trailer video. I mean the list just never ends if you take the time to think about it.

I loved the whole Ren the King arc, even though I know there were some who didn't. I was eating that stuff up with a spoon

This season was TANGO'S season. Out of all the Hermits, I think you showed what you are most capable of! Everything that you had done showed passion and talent that's incredible to even think of what's next. Deep Frost Citadel is my favorite build of the season. It's crazy to think that almost all that build was done in one episode. Here's to season 10 and can't wait to see what game you design next!
You need to teach Pearlscentmoon redstone because I heard that she’s is interested in fully helping you with decked out 3 so she can take over for decked out 4 as the new dungeon master. She has an awesome idea of having every hermit build a room except for you and Pearlscentmoon and basically build the connections.
I truly feel season 9 was Tango's season. Between the nether hub, Decked Out, and shenanigans with other hermits, much of what you did is highlighted through other's videos, and you made such a big impact. Everything you did this season has been amazing.
When you first made the Nether Hub, I was so excited and commented smth like:
"wow thats such a smart system and nice place, its really gonna give a vibe to the season"
and man, even tho I was watching it unfold and watched the previous DO, somehow I was still taken by surprise with how

watching tango empty his inventory and ender chest into a chest at the end of today’s stream really made me emotional. it’s been an honor to watch your content for the past 20 months. i can’t wait to see what you do next
season 10 is such a massive milestone and i honestly can't wait, for the new projects on a fresh world, but more to see the hermits interact as a community at the start of a season again (and for tango to actually socialise)
To this day, the Astral Library Nether Hub is still my favourite build on Hermitcraft so far. I just love the vibe and the function of it so much. Decked Out 2 and the Deepfrost Citadel is so impressive and mindblowing, it doesn't even seem real sometimes. It's amazing how much Tango built just to 'decorate' the main function of the build with both of those builds. It goes above and beyond, and honestly just shows how much effort tango puts into these projects. It's so awesome
Some of my favorite parts of season 9 were even near the beginning, with Doc's ghast cannon, the egg hunt, and all those social games and events that got hermits interacting. I can't wait for season 10 to supplant 9 as my favorite

After watching so many videos on the second channel and some of the streams, my brain just imagines Tango with a webcam in the right corner talking while he is speaking.
I love Tango's collab farm idea at 10:50. It'd be awesome to see him spend a good chunk of S10 asking other hermits what hard-to-get-blocks they'd like to build with more, and work together with them to make farms for those blocks

I don’t really know what to say. This season has been incredible, and Decked Out 2 might be one of the greatest things ever built in Minecraft. I had so much fun watching you build your base, to Decked Out 2, and everything in between. You killed it, Tango. Deepfrost alone would be one of the most impressive builds on the server, and its sitting on a behemoth, an incredible accomplishment. Your builds have come so far, you are a builder, a game maker, and a redstoner. What a joy this season was.

There was so much amazing Decked Out content this season that i completely forgot about the drowned farm! I was sooo amazed when I saw it, pure magic!
I think Decked Out is truly one of the greatest crowning achievements of the evolution of Minecraft in general, as it combines some of the most beautiful structures and builds I have seen in Minecraft RUclips with a masterfully constructed and complicated redstone design. When someone learns how much is possible with redstone and some time, this is what they imagine. Thank you so much, Tango, for making all of our childhood dreams come true and may we never forget the incredible achievement that this “mini” game is.
Thank you Tango! You were the MVP of Season 9 in my book! Decked Out 2, the Astral Library, and everything in between (like the Parkour Challenge!) made every episode, stream, etc. incredible to watch.

This has been such an epic season, Tango! Deep Frost Citadel is indeed one of if not the most amazing build I’ve seen in Minecraft. I loved looking back at the other projects this season too, the copper farm sticks out in my mind especially. It was so much fun! I can’t wait to get the world download and PLAY DECKED OUT (screams), and I also can’t wait for season ten. Thank you so much, Tango, for your amazing hard work and fantastic content this season. My dude, your season 9 was unbelievable. The citadel is one of my favorite builds that has ever been on a HermitCraft server, and Decked Out2... it is just a triumph, easily the most impressive thing I have ever seen in survival. You should be incredibly proud of yourself.
With everything that's gone on this past year, season 9 of Hermitcraft has REALLY helped me keep my sanity. Having health issues at the start of the year, having my old laptop crash and loosing my old RUclips account (which I still haven't been able to get back BTW), it's been a rough ride, but Hermitcraft has been a great distraction. Sad to see season 9 come to an end, but also looking forward to seeing what Tango and the other Hermits get up to in season 10.

The Citadel ended up being my favourite hermitcraft build I've seen so far just in general. This season has been an absolute delight to watch, and I can't wait to see whatever shenanagains are in store in season 10

Tango, this season honestly turned you from one of my favorite hermits, to probably my favorite. You did soo soo soo many amazing projects! And I love your creativity, humor and all the fun noises. And yes, please be as social as you want next season, you deserve it so much. You deserve to now play games made by others, because you missed them this season! Honestly, season 9 is the Tango season for me. The nether hub and decked out (plus deep frost citadel) are just SUCH amazing parts of this season. I hope you can find many smaller projects that bring you a lot of joy in S10 and also allow for you to have more time for silly collabs!

Season 9 was reallty awesome, it just lacked some social interactions bc mumbo was gone, iskall was gone, keralis was gone and unfortunately TFC left too.

9:16 Work of art is right. The best farms aren't gimmicky 'same thing but with a twist' or ultra-efficient monoliths, but the ones that innovate in the intersection of form and function. These rare farms make the unexpected happen through hard work and creativity, and the results are, in fact, works of art. Love this reinforcement copper farm!

I've been declaring Tango the MVP of season 9 since before he even started construction on Decked Out. For real he accomplished soooooo much. Incredible builds, farms and games and managed to still have time for random fun in between. I can't even tell you how much I was looking forward to every next video.

I'm still blown away by Deepfrost Citadel, it's one of the greatest builds on the server. And probably the best build was Pearl making an entire custom landscape so that's an impressive category
I love that all of your projects are completely vanilla. It really showcases both the game's capabilities as well as yours (and any other player willing to put in the effort!) While this game could do with a few improvements, projects like the Nether Hub and DO2 really show just how amazing Minecraft already is.

seasons 9 feels like forever and too short at the same time
Decked out 3: a single room with one eyed willie sitting in a dunk tank, whoever can kill him in the most creative way as revenge for all the runs he ended wins
Each hermit is a master in at least one aspect of the game, but very few are masters of both redstone AND building, let alone adding game design and story telling! Absolutely fantastic season Tango.
I hate that it's over but all the livestreams and memories attached to them have been absolutely incredible to experience, and seeing this season from the perspective of the viewer has been some of the most incredible time I've spent watching RUclips. I'll never forget it.
Utterly fabulous season can't wait for 10! - edit will you do some more Create Mod now? :)
This is probably obvious, but using crafters to turn bone blocks down into bone meal could help save space in a future tree farm, like that nether tree farm
I love how humble he is! Starter house, "it's not that great..." I can't build like that! Tango, this season was AMAZING! All of the Hermits were awesome and Decked Out was magnificent! Congratulations!
I'm always going to remember this season for all the jokes the Hermits made about Tango being down in the Decked Out hole. You'd think he was a Goblin the amount of times it came up.
I watched hours upon hours of decked out building streams and YT vid with my kids, and it was magical when the dungeon opened up for the first couple of runs. That magic was there through every phase. Watching my kids on the edge of their seat for EVERY SINGLE hermit run was amazing. Truly thank you for giving that to the world. Incredible effort Tango!
My favorite moment from the season was still when Tango showed up in The Great Witch Shubble's swamp, and casually did the I'm Something of a -Scientist- _Witch_ Myself meme after having completed the nether library, only to have Shubble stumble into that very same library later and comment on how powerful such a witch must be to have such a library. That witch would go on to become _The Dungeon Master_
Just the buildings you did are totally amazing. The citadel is one of my favorite buildings in all of minecraft. And then came Decked Out 2. Just mind blowing. It turned out so so good and I had soooo much time watching all the hermits play it. Thanks so much Tango!
Thank you Tango, the Decked out project is possibly one of the greatest achievements anyone has made in MineCraft, not to mention countless hours of content from the build to the hundreds of runs and content from other hermits playing the game, one of your greatest achievements and one of the most generous builds, built for the Hermitcraft community.
