Momota is very diligent in getting his foot prep to jump to the possible next place the opponent will hit to. For example, if the next shot has possibility of drop or go back, Momota will set his feet that he can dive in to tap, or at least get a drop early, and can also pivot to cover the back (one foot in front, one in the back). If smash is coming in, he set his feet wide to cover both wing, and stay really low, I stress, really low. Ginting is lazy in his foot preparation in so many points. Sometime he hit and Momota is about to hit it back already but Ginting feet were still in the place when he touched the bird like 3-4 seconds ago.
Not true, ginting's footwork is actually better than momota, they are both known for being fast players. What you talked about with the foot direction is basic badminton and everyone does that. Also, 3-4 seconds after hitting the shuttle is is way too much, I think you mean 0.3-0.4 seconds. 3 seconds after someone hitting the shuttle is a long time to start moving, the shuttle would already be on the ground

It might not be laziness but lack of attention. KM forces him to play with the speed when ASG is too drained both physically and mentally to do it.
In first and second game Ginting still prep early. In the last half, he was very tired already.
