      Idk man, embid before he got injured last year was MOST DOMINANT player in world

      @@TheGrimConspiracy Respect to Joel as I think he’s a better scorer and defender than Jokic. But give me Jokic in the playoffs any day over embiid, if for no other reason than one dude stays healthy. Embiid is typically either a fraction of himself come playoff time or just flat out not playing. Bros dominant when he’s playing, but that’s the issue, availability.

      He's been great in the regular aeason multiple times, but he's never there in the playoffs.
      If they ever make an all-time fake superstar starting five, he will be the C on that team.

    Something fascinating about Jokic talks from other big men is how they talk about "He's so strong, so wide, so heavy" and also mention his insane motor of him never getting tired and making you take no breaks because he moves so much and do so much in every position

      His stamina is insane. I think that's a big argument for him over Embiid. If you watch Embiid in the playoffs, he always plays worse as the game goes on. He'll put up like 15 in the 1st quarter, 8 in the 2nd, 4 in the 3rd, and 0 in the 4th. It's conditioning. Even back when Jokic really was overweight, he played like 56 minute in that double OT game against Portland in the playoffs and it was no problem.

      @@rome8180 jokic can run a marathon better than the majority of these nba big men. He's so endurable in a leauge that involves so much running. Let alone the fact that he plays in denver which people had always complained about the altitude being hard to play at (which i kinda disagree having visiting places with higher altitudes, but hey they are running alot for like 48 minutes). If he's a video game character in a battle game, he will have like the largest stamina and health stats/bar out of all the centers

      @@sebastianleung2897 I've heard players say they get winded in Denver during the warmups. That low oxygen makes your lungs feel like they're burning.
      When I was young and fit as a teenager used to running, I was in Lake Tahoe (6,000 ft elevation) just casually walking up a moderate hill. I got a little short of breath doing only that slight exertion, which startled me. Now imagine if I'd have to sprint repeatedly.
      It's a real thing!

      Jordan played for 15 seasons and won 6 chips. Kobe played for 20 years and has 5. Lebron's been playing for 20 years and has 4. Steph has 4 and he's been in the league for 15 years.

    I remember during Olympics NBA analysts saying that Embiid had his best big time delivery as if that was some proof of what he can do during the playoffs. Are you kidding me??? What's the pressure to deliver when you are in a effing super star team??? I want to see him do that during the playoffs when his team depends on him. He is yet to reach the ECF. Embiid has a lot to prove.

      -- my major complaint with Embiid, he FLOPS way too much.
      That man has great post moves, finesse, can shoot the 3. But flops? He's bigger than 98% of all players. Why are you flopping--why are you foul baiting...There's a difference in drawing the contact in the midst of shooting VS looking for the foul but not really looking to shoot. Sigh.

    Whiteside will forever be in that “why weren’t they better?” camp with other talented, yet inconsistent and flawed players like Michael Beasley, and Tyrus Thomas.

      Nah, you can't compare them to Whiteside. Those two were top 5 picks and clear busts. Whiteside was in the 2nd round and his career was good for a 30+ pick, and he even had a season where he played almost like an allstar.

    I used to like Whiteside when he first entered the league, especially his backstory. Sometimes though his tendency to get distracted from the game is infuriating. It makes him inconsistent.

    Jokić is good, a top player, but as a man Bogdanović is far ahead of him. First, he is constantly responding to the national team, Jokić did not come to play anymore than he used to. Second, Bogdanović does not interfere in Serbian politics and does not divide people, while Djokovic does the opposite.
