also you can applay spline ik to tail bones. Animation>CAT>Applay Max IK. you can make different max ik for different layers. it cat help in some cases as snake movement ets. make video about it)))
You can use the head and tail bones together to make a switch, and use Bone to make the real skinning bones like the IKFK switch.And how can you do CAT foot ik fk switch?

Yes, there were some small bug fixes. More specifically only these 3: - Fixed a crash in a CAT Parent object when pressing the time warp button. MAXX-57295 - Fixed the buttons to open Curve Editors for a CAT Layer displaying empty curve editors (no keys or curves). MAXX-57284 - Playback performance degradation has been fixed when TrackView is open. MAXX-48640
Hey! I always get a geometry conversion error after exporting whenever I create a custom cat rig and add finger bones to the palm. May I ask you if you have the same issue? If not, which 3ds max version do you use?🤔 I also get non orthogonal matrix support errors even though I didn't scale anything sometimes

In the arm set-up, why not specify that the arm is on side "M" (middle) instead of left?
