They were doing very good until.2011.
2011: 2PM reached their peak with hands up with 3 million downloads. If big bang has digital, suju has album sales, 2pm excelled in both back then.
2012: scandals happened. Breadwinner of jyp halted their activities, focusing on japan. Radio star MCs even called jype is a suzy ent. The f*ing disrespect urgh
2013: flopping continues. Releases miss A song, 2pm's and wonder girls. Nothing worked out.
2014: debuting a boy group in the midst of bankcruptcy rumor. Got7 debuted under dark age of jyp tbh. Haters were trying to kick out jyp from big3
2015: debuting a girl group from survival show. Finally seeing the light with like ooh aah.
2016: cheer up and TT happened.
2017: the growth inflates tremendously.
2018: market capitalization of jyp surpassed 1TOP SM AND YG, at value of whopping 1.01trillion won.
The whole damn journey. And now here we are. You did so so so well jype artist, staffs and fans!
I know as jyp stan from 2pm era is really hard especially when the dark era of jyp, but then got7 trying and working to work as global group, and twice is working so hard to nation group and yeah they are really did that, and I'm sure stray kids will continue the journey 😭😭😭

Its a hard work of literally everyone. From top to bottom management. Got7 worked hard, releasing multiple albums, all of them are masterpiece (all jype albums are) and it just happened to be luck isnt on their side, yet. If only they know.

I CHOKED ON MY TEARS
I started crying at Jeongin's part. "There are times like that too for me" we always see them smiling and joking around but after a long day, they are exhausted just like everyone else. The fact that they are trying to hide it when they are tired or sad just hurts. They deserve to always be happy and Stays should always show support for them. We play a big role in their lives so we should be able to make them happy and motivated to continue fighting. I really hope they achieve their dreams together. I’m crying because Chan didn’t get a part to himself like the other members, but instead his lines were weaved between the others and honestly, to me that’s so symbolic of how he’s their leader and is a support to them. That might not be the reason, but regardless, it comes across as that to me and I’m sorry, this song has got me really emotional. I just love them so much.
His longest part is placed right before all of them sing together. Its like bang leader did that, we're gonna follow him, happily. If that even make sense. 😅

this song made me realize how hard they actually work. ive become quite desensitized by the kpop industry because i know that if you want to be a star, you’re basically signing your regular life away, even if you do become popular or not. people who want to become stars are fine with that because of whatever reasons. this group is so much more different. from the week after hellevator dropped, i could tell they weren’t in it for the fame, but they were in it for the music and you can tell that by their music. if you’ve ever carefully analyzed their lyrics, it’s the purest thing and you can tell they put their all into the music. because of them, ive tried putting my all into my music, my studies, my art, and work hard, because if they can accomplish so much by that young of an age, i really do think anything is possible if you’re putting your all into it and doing it purely because it’s your passion. when they blow up, i want to be one of the fans in the front row singing this song and telling them “you’re doing well, keep going” and i don’t ever want anything to hurt them.

I don't really have a regular life besides watching Kpop/Kdramas, some news and working on my KPop YT channel, and learning Korean and music production soon, so I have no problem signing a contract. I 'm not new to all-nighters either. I need to get back to work next year and take hiatus from my YT channel b/c it's been a flop. I give myself 3 years to prepare for auditions. I'm too old to be an idol so I hope to be a solo artist/actress. I can only dance so far (and play piano/violin but those are not exactly requirements for being a pop artist) so I've got a LOT to work on.

honestly, it’s only a matter of time till they’ll blow up, but like... they make music this good and even if they will not become as big as bts, i wouldnt really care? the fact that they do this kind of music with this kind of honesty and character is enough for me and if people won’t appreciate this... poor them. like changbin said; they make music that has no lies. this hit me really hard because it’s so true everything they’ve released up until now comes out of experience and nowadays honesty like this is barely seen especially in the music industry plus it’s the KOREAN music industry were everything is knowingly produced. they really inspire me and make me believe that kpop has hope regarding artistic freedom and artistic quality. honesty in songs is one if the most important factors at least in my opinion. just take a look at the credits if the albums they’ve released till now, they are all produced by at least one of them (which is chan) and that’s so admirable especially for a rookie group. i really really hope more (new) groups will be like this and take their music as serious as they do.

dont hate me for this but when i first saw straykids i thought “would this group be like the other group in the k-industry? Like doing the same concept over and over again? Im getting bored...” But im telling u, stray kids is much much more better. They are so talented and hard working. This kids needs to be recognize, not only in korea but also internationally. One of the reason i adore stray kids is because of the meaning of their song that bring hope to other people. Not only that, they were just like tell a whole story of their journey through a song. Its all about life and thats why sometimes we can really relate their song with ourself because thats what most of the people had gone through. They really appreciate their life and how i hope other kpop group can make them as their inspiration because they really talented and honest about their song.

They truly deserve the world. They work so hard, struggle, but they always comeback brighter than before. Their bond cannot be explained by words. They're more than family, if that's even possible. I hate that people are too quick to judge, saying that they're flopping because of what the charts say. But people don't realize that the charts are biased and never mean anything in terms of talent. These hard working boys will always be supported by us because we know how much time and effort they put into everything they do. they're such hard workers and they care about each other. For a short 2 years of stanning groups, I thought i found my ult group, when i was only stanning groups that are considered 'big'. But then, Stray Kids happened, they now hold so much space in my heart. I think about them so much, they're my default thought; when i'm thinking nothing, i am thinking about them (if that even makes sense) .
I love them so much, They manifested my life in such a beautiful way- They became my inspiration, their songs, their lyrics, their personality, their skills, talent, stray kids themselves. The last episode from the show is what really hits me, I remember thinking when JYP announced they will debut as nine, and seing them smile while hugging each other- "Wow, they really complete each other huh? These 9 were destined to meet each other, to make music together, dance, laugh, eat, experience the good and bad things of life together."
I could imagine this sung at their first concert during the encore! Ahhh its like the ‘One In A Million’ but for SK 😭

I became a stay a few weeks ago(?) And i wish i was there earlier and cried with all the Stays who cried after Woojin left...i did tear up and broke after reading the comments under this video, when my sister told me that there were 9 members but one left (the first day i became a Stay) it kinda hurt ngl but reading more about it hurts even more. But yk I'm still glad to meet Straykids and be a Stay
I stan the best group I could have ever stanned. The whole album is absolutely beautiful and the lyrics are so meaningful and resonate with so many people. Same with I Am NOT. The fact that these boys truly put their heart and soul into their music and work so hard for us and are so genuine and loving is just incredible. I can't think of another group like them. I'm so happy to be able to follow them along their journey of being musical artists and I can't wait to see what they do in the future. I could go on forever about how talented, special and unique they are. How great their chemistry and love for eachother is, and how music really brings them together. I am here to Stay. ♡♡♡
if it was just like 3RACHA writing this, is would be amazing, but since it's all of them, it's outstanding. they fact that they are all pitching in to write such an emotional song is amazing and i love it. hyunjin's lines almost broke me, with him talking about him maybe getting tired of the boys but never regretting anything they've done together, it was truly amazing. this song reminds me of some kind of edit someone once did where they put a whole bunch of things (like minho and felix getting eliminated, jeongin being on the verge of being eliminated both times, and stuff like that) in then at the end, the song got happier and they put when JYP told them they'd be debuting together as nine, their debut day, all that kind of stuff and it made me cry.
the end of this song, where they all sing together is beautiful, and the fact that they can all sing together and sound amazing is awesome. nine people singing together usually sounds terrible if they're just singing however but their voices go together really well and i love it. they're my ult group for a reason and the moment i saw them preforming and singing and joking around, i knew they were going to become very popular. just think: for few months after they're debuted, they go to K-Con NY, then get one of the most clever fandom names (in my opinion), then have a comeback with a significantly larger fan count is amazing.
i'm so proud of these boys, sometimes i feel like a proud mom, even though im younger than all of them :').

stray kids know that a lot of us are in the dark and want to shine like others, but what they're trying to tell us is that in order for us to shine, darkness is needed. even though we are in the darkness right now, we will get our chance to shine. they relate so much to the younger generation since they are mainly made up of the younger generation and i just love them so much and if i could just say one thing it would be "Thank YOu" bcz theyve helped me so much and theyve helped a lot of other people too they're my ultimate bias group for a reason and i will never stray away from them i love them from the bottom of my heart and will continue to and will always support them because they support me

STRAY KIDS you might not have a huge impact to korean pips right now, but believe me you gained the heart of soooooo many INTERNATIONAL fans...you’ll never go wrong...
