  • We manufacture several turbine casings (approx. Ø400 mm, height 250 mm) quickly and with high-quality surfaces. With turning, turn-milling, 5-axis milling, helical drilling and flexible functions, you can create template-based CAM programs in Tebis CAD/CAM software. The highly accurate simulation technologies ensure safe NC programs already during CNC programming that are then output to the machine fully collision-checked.
Maximum surface quality on turbine casings, quickly and safely
    - Tebis template technology and digital twins
    - Tebis with powerful 5-axis functions
    - Tebis simulation: fully integrated collision control
    - modern high-performance tools (HPC tools, circle-segment cutters)
    - efficient manufacturing planning for high machine utilization

If this component was manufactured by using additive manufacturing then i guess a lot of material could have been saved, less scrap, no use of lubricants hence eco friendly which leads to less wastage of money. But that process is time consuming.

That´s true, additive manufacturing takes indeed longer. For example because the part is quite big (approx. Ø400 mm, height 250 mm), which also means higher costs for 3D printing. By the way, the chips from machining will be profitably sold for environmentally friendly recycling. And if high precision is required, as it was for this part, additional milling has to be done after additive manufacturing.
