I got a problem on my w203 sunroof.. it can open-close normaly , but can not tilting.. when i check on the rail, the front bumper kinda thing is like stuck so when sunroof fully close the bumper stuck in the middle of the glass and sunroof front side.. i think the bumper is misplaced somehow… anyone experienced this?
@@hanenkamm1979 Is your sunroof functional? In other words, does it actuate when you press the switch? I'm not too familiar with Mercedes vehicles, I wouldn't be able to confirm about your vehicle with c class parts.
Yes. Look it up on RUclips. I found a video and all I did was turn the car off, pull the fuse for the radio and put it back in ( I didn’t even change it) and that reset the radio. I then had to call the dealer for the code on the screen. They gave me the code and the radio came on.
I had the same issue with the stutter closing and opening after changing my battery. After I did the 5 seconds in each way it completely stopped moving at all!!!!! I have a 2005 c240
This somewhat worked. I have the same exact vehicle you were working on and my sunroof was doing the same exact thing after battery replacement. After doing the 5 second procedure, sunroof functions properly but is very slow opening and only auto opens. If you want to close you have to hold the button. Any thoughts?
@@keremabi5317 The initialization memory got wiped out from the memory. This happens whenever you replace the battery or the battery completely goes dead.

If I'm not wrong both positions should work, but I would put it on position 2.

It there a way to reset the radio it won't turn on since I changed the battery. The fuse is good on the back of the radio I checked . Thanks

Perhaps, try disconnecting the battery once again and see if it works again. You may have a switch or motor problem.

How come it wouldn't open smoothly when you were trying to open it the first time, but it opened fine when you were counting?
When ever you change or have dead battery, you will lose the memory settings. You must perform a relearn procedure for it to function properly.

I would try and do the procedure once again, sometimes it needs multiple tries.

Sorry for the late response buddy, I would try and disconnect the battery for a minute or so and then reconnect and try again.

Your problem might be a blown fuse, faulty control switch panel, faulty motor or electrical problem.
My sunroof opens when I press the button once. When closing it, I have to keep the button pressed. Why is that?
