Tbh @baltmarix I've never used instructions. I've always found it fun to figure out how to transform the figures.

Like most other collects, this Megs was like : "Nah, not sure or meh?!!" But when I saw and looked at him, I caved in and bought him! And yeah he's actually alot of fun (if alittle non-traditional especially is jet mode) , the box art/promo shots don't really do this figure any justice. Only when you take him out and mess around with does it become apparent on how cool he is. I think that this very Megs would've worked better with an Autobot repro label sticker set because this guy scream IDW Megs to me. Worth get and give this Megs a chance in your collection, I'm sure glade that I did!!
It's a pretty solid figure with 2 obvious flaws. Dat turret in jet mode hanging off the underside, and a serious need for a reprolabels set.
The G2 Megatron one is fantastic
I do think this figure would have looked better if it was in silver. Fair to say that this mold will be better as blitzwing. I do think that it would be cool to see this guy in G2 colors so that he could be displayed with the G2 Optimus. Great video Baltmatrix.
Reprolables are gonna have a field day with these new figures
Robot mode looks ok, Tank mode ((inspired from the Combiner Wars mini series i wager)) looks ok, and the Jet mode looks ok, if not out of place, would've liked it if the Jet mode was replaced by the G1 series's Gun mode, or even made the figure a Quadruple-Changer
It’s almost as if Hasbro was in cahoots with reprolabels the way they are designing these stickers haha. I gotta say, I love the way his arms become tank treads.
I found this guy at an As-is Store, in-box with all his parts, so I got him for virtually nothing. Learning that he's a Blitzwing repaint (or visa versa) I'm totally going to repaint him into Blitzwing to stand by my War for Cybertron Megatron.

That is going to be a fantastic Blitzwing, hopefully most of the qc issues will have been taken care of by the time that version of this mold is released.
His 'Titan' gun looks like it ought to be an alternate barrel for the turret itself.

The button that flips the pylons up is behind the chest. It's more of a lever.
A transformable shield would cover the thruster ports nicely
the downside of Megatron is the stickers on the wing's they keep falling off on mine as well and had no other option but to toss the 2 out . it's nice to know i'm not the only one who has they issue. i even gave him that black line above his eyes like he had in the cartoon which i thought was like a unibrow

Plane mode looks great IMO
You can peg it on the back of the tank mode and if you fold the chest down you will see the button for the cannons

did you know that jet mode the part when you flip out the nose cone you can fit a titan master in it
I own this and I definitely like it it looks like Megatron especially that head sculpt and everything else for the most part works.
It's a little fiddly but it's definitely more poseable than the combiner wars Megatron
I really hope that when this is turned into Blitzwing, they remold the turret to have a longer barrel so Blitzwong doesn't have to rely on Megs fusion cannon to look complete.

Seems like a fun enough figure but this is definitely a better Bltizwing than a Megatron. Feels like they just needed a voyager class Megatron for the line that quarter.
Maybe it's just me, but I really wish that this mold (either Blitzwing or Megatron) will be repurposed for the movie version. Maybe with some tweaks so that the jet thrusters can be well hidden in tank mode, the turret could move upward, and no Headmaster gimmick so that the head flips up from chest. The jet mode was perfect for what it is.
If your buying at the store when you go to grab one and think this one might have issues, grab a different one.
If your buying online maybe try a different seller.
just got this one, and i really like. yeah it has some looseness to it, but really enjoy this figure. compared to blitzwing i like having the bigger cannon on the tank. thanks for the reviews.
I recently picked up this figure, my hips are pretty loose too. Damn, not that loose. Yeah my figures, especially in the combiners had just terrible joints.
Blegh, that gray color plastic they went with looks garish and lifeless even moreso than that orange as balls Sentinel Prime toy, this will be the first time I have no interest whatsoever in a Megatron toy. Definitely gonna wait for that Blitzwing repaint....
On Hasbro they really seem to like those pylons. Also replacing paint with stickers and top of that those are cheap ones that peel off easily. Tank mode seems to be best part of this toy so we shall see what retooling to Blitzwing is going to look like.

for reasons that I don't understand when I transform my TR megatron in jet mode on one side the track kibble refuses to peg into place properly. can't work out whats wrong with but its very irritating since the figure now basically does transform to jet mode properly. it only looks correct when you hold the track kibble in place by hand.

I guess having other sublines end in "s" hasn't helped- Generations, Combiner Wars, Earth Wars, etc.
Marc Fernandez It's called Titan's return just people use the abbreviation rather than saying Transformers generations Prime wars trilogy: Titan's Return which is the actual name
Jetfire48 - My inquiry was with regards to Balt calling the subline "Titans Returns" versus the ACTUAL name of "Titans Return", that is, no "s" at the end. He certainly knows what the line is called because his videos are titled properly, but he still SAYS it with an "s" at the end.
Jetfire48 - Also, it is not "Titan's Return" - there is no apostrophe-s at the end of Titan. It's simply "Titans Return".

A lot of people say that their titans return figures are loose but none of mine are I think I’m really lucky
i would like them to make a titans return Megatron based on fall of cybertron Megatron that way you can replay the scene where soundwave put him back together

Hi Spada, for the tank mode, can I flip out the robot feet and point them forward instead of showing the jet thrusters in front so it doesn't look as silly?
I own the figure and just tried this out. It doesn't look very good...
One question. How am i suppose to manage tabbing Megatron's legs the way they're supposed to ? It's impossible. I bought him yesterday, and I haven't managed to transform him to any other mode, due to that problem.
Hasbro's just throwing money toward Reprolabels with these latest voyagers. >_>

love the figure, though i want to mod it so one doesnt have to remove the head for trabsfotmation, i still love the gen blitzwing mold though if takata makes a g2 vetsion i will totally buy it
FPrimusUnicron G2 Megatron probably wouldn't happen unless it's not going to have the front of a tank as the chest and a shoulder cannon though agreed people tend to find all kinds of ways to un-headmaster Titan's return figures
like the combiner wars that didnt look like their g1 counterparts and
they still repainted, even though some even looked the same as those
from hasbro? or the tons of repaints that only resemble their original
counterparts becasue of the paint job, but even more because they say
so?, yeah, still can happen a g2 megatron, will it happen? maybe or
maybe not, but still possible

Another F15. Love the triple change but hate the fact the head must be taken off. Then again it is titans return. Wish there was another figure like this that does not need the head removed.

So what exactly IS the release state of these guys? According to the wiki Megs and Optimus were part of Wave 3 (in 2016), and there are already reviews of them, yet they're still listed as preorder everywhere and the Wiki says they're not released yet.
I am confus.
DarkdustDragon They're out in stores in some parts of the world, and it's possible someone just didnt update the Wiki.

TheComicCrafter Part of the reason he gets bad figures is he gets figures RIGHT AWAY so they tend to have more problems than the same figure released somewhere else....

Hey, Baltmatrix, any chance of you reviewing Blitzwing or Octane soon? Even the Ramhorn figure would be cool. Oh, btw, anyone hear about the Siege on Cybertron set w/ Thunderwing, Pounce, Metalhawk, Tidal Wave, and Powemaster O.P.?
Of course the limbs are loose. They're using nothing but pins now. It's sad really.
FYI this is my opinion and idc what anybody says, alot of Hasbro's transformers products (not all, but a good portion of their products) have been getting more cheaply made as the years went by. It should be about quality, not quantity. I would much rather have 1 character I want with the best resources used and the best engineering put into the figure, not 3 characters that I do want, but made so cheaply that it feels like they'll break in my hands
I agree. Hasbro just seems like they're running out of ideas. Some, and I say that loosely, figures of late are ok, but overall new Hasbro figures are garbage

I think the CW Leader Megs had a better head sculpt than this one. Also, I really dont like Hasbro's current "flat grey". Older Generations Megatron figures like 2006 NERF and WFC looked much better than this one.
