Let me clarify this video. You do not have to have anal sex to get anal cancer! I have never had anal sex in my life, and I was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2016. Anyone having unprotected vaginal sex can get HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) and HPV can lie dormant in the body for years without any symptoms, as it did in my case. If you have had unprotected sex, even one time, you are at risk to be infected with HPV, so let's be careful out there! Mine was detected early, but only after I had massive rectal bleeding. I was sitting in a chair, felt a whoosh of fluid, thought I was incontinent, stood up, saw it was not urine but blood & ran to the bathroom, then to the hospital. This video appears to have been recorded/posted 2010. Medicine & research have made great strides in research & treatment since 2010. But please know that anyone can get Anal cancer.
