How many of you tried Olaplex No. 3 on your curls? Did it work for you? Share with me down in the comments!
: ))
I've been using #'s 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 about four months. My hair now has texture, strength & thickness again.
I don’t know why I cannot get it to work on my hair
I’m trying today! @discocurls I notice on your before and after and then after 1 month, your hair looks shorter in the final pic. Is it due to the curls being more defined and starting higher? Loveeee your hair x
Wow ok NOW im sold! Your hair looks so thick and healthyyyy ❤ My curl pattern has loosened a bit due to color damage and I plan on using it weekly. I might make my own review on it too! Thank you for this video. Just subbed xo
You're so welcome! Let me know how it works for you. I can't wait to try their new Olaplex No. 0. It's supposed to make No. 3 work even better.
You have so many interesting videos, I need to binge watch all of them.
Thank you! I hope you find some great videos.
It actually looks thicker!!! Great stuff that Olaplex!
Thank you!
Great video!! Can definitely see the difference. Seems like a superior version of an intense protein treatment with extra benefits. Will definitely have to try. Her hair looks gorgeous😍😍
Thank you so much! I would have to agree with you about it being similar to a protein treatment. I've heard it's great for protein sensitive hair which is why it is so popular. These are the ingredients:
-Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate.
Water, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Glycerin, Hydroxyethyl Ethylcellulose, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Quaternium-91, Sodium Benzoate, Cetrimonium Methosulfate, Cetrimonium Chloride, Fragrance, Polyquaternium-37, Tetrasodium EDTA, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Etidronic Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Phytantriol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Panthenol, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate.
So glad you posted this. I tried it out yesterday and watched your video before applying! I already see some shrinkage in my usually problematic sections. Can't wait to see how it looks when I continue to use it 😊
OMG! So excited to hear that. Please let me know how it goes after you finish the bottle.
I love your hair!!!!! It look so healthy 😘
Thanks Anjanae!
Hey love!! Yes I've tried olaplex and it is amazing! I don't use it on a regular basis because if I do it causes my hair to break. Although it's not a protein treatment it definitely acts like a protein treatment. Overall I love olaplex #3 and it's perfect for reviving over moisturized hair 👌🏼
Hey girl! Yes, it definitely feels like a protein treatment so I make sure to deep condition now after I use it. That makes a huge difference.
Your hair looks so curly and healthy. No I have not tried it yet. But you have made a believer out of me. When I looking to see where it is sold, I also saw it on Amazon.....same price as on the Olaplex website.
Hi Karen, thank you so much! It feels so healthy. I highly suggest buying it only from a reputable store. Sephora and Olaplex.com should be fine. Sometimes they sell the fake stuff on Amazon.
@@DiscoCurls You are correct, I don't usually buy expensive hair products on Amazon because I know some of the third party sellers are not authentic.
Your hair looks fabulous! I’ve never used Olaplex No. 3, but you make me want to try it!
Thank you! Well, definitely let me know if you do. I would love to know your results.
I have tried olaplex for the first time yesterday. I am currently transitioning back to natural after using keratin treatment for years and i was struggling to bring back my curles on my crown area and after the first use my hair looked wavy at the areas that used to be frizzy and straight whereas the curly areas became coily. I am so impressed with the results i kind of want to buy the bigger bottle and keep using it for a while until i am fully transitioned
This is amazing! We're glad you're seeing such great results!
Thank you!
@@DiscoCurls Our pleasure!
Your hair looks great! ive been recently using camille rose lavender leave in. and ginger rinse cowash. And an oil to seal. super hydrating without being heavy. i may try olapex. love the results. it seems that your hair is now hydrated from the inside out.
Thank you! I want to try some of the Camille Rose products!
Great video, have heard of Olaplex 3 but afraid to try it my hair is high porosity , thin and falls out if I sneeze. Some say it is a harsh treatment but your results are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
My hair is thin..falls out very easily to the point I hate washing it due to fall out and the olaplex 3 worked wonderfully to tighten my curls and help with the porosity due to coloring
It doesn't feel harsh to me but I do think it works better with a deep conditioner after. It felt just a tad bit drier but not too bad.
So glad to hear that!
Not sure if you already mentioned but you just used it once per week? Def gonna try this now. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome! Yes, I was using it once per week until the bottle ran out (about a month)
@@DiscoCurls is it possible to spread to throughout 2 weeks cause its pretty expensive and i just want it to last longer
Hi! I've used Olaplex and I haven't noticed any change in my hair. I used it according to directions and used the whole system (#3, shampoo and conditioner). Maybe I should try again....
I have thin fine wavy-curly hair and I was also hoping that olaplex would change it for the better and make my curl pattern tighter and nicer. I spent alot of money on olaplex 1, 2 and 3 and followed the directions but had no results.
Bummer, can I ask if you applied the olaplex before shampoo? I never used it with the Olaplex shampoo or conditioner either. I just used whatever was in my shower at the moment.
Same question to you, Elise. Curious if you used the olaplex before shampoo and how long did you leave it on for?
@@DiscoCurls I have tried applying it generously before shampooing on dry hair and after washing my hair with a clarifying shampoo (then washed it out again with a gentle shampoo and did a mask). I left it on under a shower cap for at least 45 minutes so it could work.
Hmm I’d you still have some left try rinsing out your hair first without shampoo, then olaplex, rinse, shampoo, rinse, conditioner, rinse, then style. I believe you are supposed to do it on damp hair that is not washed. If that doesn’t help then I have no clue! 🤷🏽♀️
I didn't understand the instructions. Do you put the Olaplex 3 on hair that is dirty (before washing)? Should I wash it first, then put it on, rinse and then condition. I used it on hair that had products in it before washing, and I have to wonder if it could even penetrate with all the styling products. I didn't get much results, so looking for a better application method. Thank you
I was told for best results to rinse the hair of all products but don't wash it with shampoo. Then apply olaplex, leave on for at least 10 minutes or longer ( I do 30 min), rinse out, then shampoo, rinse, condition, rinse and style.
@@DiscoCurls Thank you. I'll try again. Still have 1/2 the bottle. Your hair looks great!
Thank you ☺️
do you think this can be useful when dealing with postpartum hair shedding?
Since I'm still dealing with a bit of postpartum hair shedding all I can say is there is a lot of slip so easier detangling. I felt like I had a small reduction in shedding but only on the days I washed with this. Hope that helps!
Kindly tell me with conditioner and curly cream that i can use coz Cantu has cut my hair
Hi can u please tell me are the results permanent
