  • Hey you guys. In today’s video I will be doing a comparison between Curlsmith’s NEW Bond Curl Rehab Salve and Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector.
    Both products are bonding treatments, but like many similar products on the market have different ingredients, as Curlsmith’s Bond Curl contains natural protein.
    Both products however are curly girl friendly, vegan, and cruelty free....made to repair and strengthen damaged hair.
    Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve: $29 (8oz)
    Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector : $28 (3.3oz)

    Thank you for reviewing these products! Question, the styling products you used for the wash and go, do you think they are worth the purchase? I need something to strengthen my hair, so I definitely want the Bond Salve. But these products are pricey and I think my hair is tired of what I’ve been using. So which products in the line are worth the investment? Thanks 😊

    I have both these products in my stash. Honestly if you’re color treated it’s best to have these on standby! I use them interchangeably and love the fact that I now have an alternative to Olaplex since I get more than two uses out of the CurlSmith bottle!

      The curlsmith product is not an alternative to Olaplex. The curlsmith product is a protein treatment, Olaplex rebuilds disulfide bonds. There is no alternative to olaplex bc they created and patented the disulfide bond rebuilding technology.

    Oleplex and Curl Smith are so different to compare they do so many different things one Bonds the hair to prevent damage when you have done a color or chemical like relaxer, curly perm or texterizer, Japanese straighting so ya 2 different products that do different things that bring back the ph balance in your hair for those who have color or chemical done to there hair.good products your using 👍❤

    im honestly so confused on my hair porosity but i think it’s changed cause i tested back when i had heat damage and now im heat damage. i realize with healthy and damage hair my hair still loves protein but the porosity test said my hair was low? but i also think i may be normal because i have both factors of low and medium. i definitely want to try the curl smith because heat damage free i still realize my front curls are a little looser but i think that’s just how my hair is naturally. do you have any tips to help with finding my porosity?

    • @sianmoore1129
      @sianmoore1129 3 года назад

      Did you do it on clean hair? As in shampoo and nothing else? Also it's possible to have different porosity levels on different parts of the head. Another way to test porosity is the feel test.
