I mean he was at the point of giving up and having the police arrest him because after he saw the body of Delilah and the ghost of Guinevere Beck he came to realise that he was a monster. The only thing that happens is he loses love for Love. Joe has a type and his type was never other psycho girls otherwise he would never have fallen for Candace or Beck in the first place. And secondly Joe is a creature of habit. Like Penn said even if Beck never found the box he would eventually have gotten bored with her. And the fact that a carbon copy of himself isn't enough for him indicates that he will never be satisfied
Jon Snow Where we disagree is I don’t believe he has realized he’s a monster , Joe actually clings onto every good deed he does as if it’s indication he’s a good person. He hasn’t falling out of Love with LOVE is actually incapable of that emotion. I believe if he really accepted who is and the things he done he could actually love , LOVE.
@@ItsKatToria The point is he couldn't accept what he was and so he believed the safest place for him to be for the good of others was a prison. That is until Love killed Candace and he found out she has his kid. I believe the kid is the only reason he hasn't turned himself in yet and now that the other evil part of him is taking over again by obsessing over a new victim. I also believe in the split personality theory of Dr.Nicky.

Tbh even with all his flaws I still liked him overall lol he was a complex character and so far he was portrayed in a way that his actions were in name of love. And consciously or not I believed in that too.The ending of season 2 clearly showed his true colors and even he admitted that everything was a lie. Him looking at his new neighbor made it even more clear how a twisted gross human he is.

MOTHER SPIDERS the guy that cut his finger off thought joe owes him some money but joe said he didn’t have it and would bring it later, to make sure he did come back and bring the money, the guy cut his finger off and kept it in a bag so if he wanted it back he would have to go back to him with the money

MOTHER SPIDERS yeah as long as the finger is kept in a bag with ice so it doesn’t rot it can be stitched back on, although you lose all movement and feeling with it

They need to do “Signs She’s Not The One” featuring Love
Joe wants a fantasy of a sweet, innocent girl (or one that seems so in his eyes)who will love him for the good in him. Love, on the other hand loves him for the darkness in him because she sees that same darkness in herself. Realizing all of this, Joe sees her in a different way and his fantasy of her being that "imperfectly perfect girl" is broken, and so he could never really love her the same.
I never expected Love being a crazed killer like Joe when I watched S2 the first time around.
When I watched S2 again, the alarm bells were definitely there, the manipulation, the questions, and the looks. Literally everything about her. Everything happens in plain sight you just need to choose if you want to see it or not which makes it frightening...
Reading the books now and I can't wait until season 3! 👏
Told myself I'll watch one or two episodes on my day off. Then spent the whole day binging on food, drinks and finished the season in one day. What a day! 🤤

My theory:

Everyone mad that he reacts to love being crazy in a surprised way but it’s just the person he is. He feels that he’s doing it for better reasons than her and that his actions are always okay, he doubts this in ending episodes of season 2 but he still convinces himself he’s not crazy and does it for love ext. this is specially seen in the ending scenes of him and bec in s1.
