I'm an old broad. Been a widow for 24 years now. My husband turned me onto Loudon saw him in person many many times. love his music 🎶
Was married 24 years before I was a widow. Love Loudon. Like Rufus too
@@susanjensby-tw4bu Loudon is playing the UK in March 2024. Three shows at Nells in London. Google it.
I think I got sunburn from the blistering honesty of this song
My absolute all time favourite song by Loudon or anybody ever. Saw him on the end of Southsea pier in concert playing this some years ago. My hero.
I've watched this many times. How it doesn't have 9000 views yet is beyond me. So much passion . Far out.
It's got 20 thousand views now.

43K :)
@@Gemini84 nearly 50000 :)
"There Will Be Rainbows" bio of Rufus by Kirk Lake brought me here. Why wasn't this musical, lyrical giant more famous? just wasn't his time. But he gave us Rufus, and youtube gives us him. Merci, RTS!
Brilliant! Totally Brilliant!
The atmosphere is so nostalgic.
Loved this tune then
Love this tune now .
This is the only song I ever learned to play properly on guitar!
Thats all you need
One of my favourites
always thought this was an Alex Chilton song. brilliant
Oh this could totally be an AC song, you're right!
Always loved this LWIII song.
Brilliant.
Well , they can't all be " Like a Rolling Stone " .
He is incredible. I wish they had a different director though. That shot from the side was killing me
thankyou
love this
Still a great song !
Beauty ❤️
💟
holy crap
well said! what a performance
French tv show hosts. Good song. Cheers!
It's actually Swiss TV :) Unfortunately I don't see any French TV channel from that time inviting a great musician like Loudon to play live...
@@Derviiiche No 'Les Enfants du Rock' on TV in France at that time ? His particular genius was too lyric based for the bland 'playback' shite they usually show on French TV I suppose.... Great capture of him/this song by the Swiss - despite the feedback at the start
The road is a lonely place.
Loudon is the best!
boooo
I love this song but is it not about a rock star sleeping with an underage groupie? Maybe I'm misunderstanding the lyrics
