First time seeing the translations for this song in decades. Never before have I seen a song for an anime that best describes the protagonist as perfect as Sonic Drive does for Sonic. And getting Hironobu Kageyama to sing it makes it even better.
let's take a moment to acknowledge that 4kids, with the money they had back then, could've bought the rights to basically ALL of the music present in the japanese edition. this includes this opening theme. and the use of "Live and Learn" by Crush 40 in one episode. let that sink in.

The whole show was the exact same things as the Dreamcast games only worse featuring Chris Thorndyke who no one likes and Tails being a cry baby bitch all the time when in the Dreamcast games this show was based off of he was a total Giga Chad who realized he didn't need Sonic he could do things himself
And the Italian theme for Sonic X(which is also a completely different song, it doesn’t really have its own name though) can be the one responding to Sonic’s perspective in Sonic Drive, since that one is in the perspective of Sonic’s friends!
you know, this show makes me feel like this is the most special show i've ever seen, the character designs are really good, that's what makes this special. well when i was little, i saw ONE scene of the intro of this show on tv, and i just switch to another channel. but then now i realized... this show is awesome, (i really regret what i did when i was little... that was my chance to watch the japanese version of this show, but now its all gone... i 110% regret it so much)
I never really got more "Sonic" from His World than the likes of It Doesn't Matter, Cosmic Eternity ~ Believe in Yourself, Sonic Drive and the two opening Sonic CD.
TheGachod i know but the general quality of those anime is rarely good , take the Bubsy or the Mario Bros anime : cheep animation , non canon storyline and only apreciable for childrens , in opposition to the Sonic X anime who can appeal to both childrens and teenagers with the use of multiples references , llike the fact that each season use the storyline of a sonic game. And even if the art is a little basic , the anime still pretty enjoyable , even for today's standarts.

If 4kids took the time to realize that Japan was making Sonic X's Audio the best (Voice Actors included), they could of been having some views and an ongoing anime. But somehow their budget went to shit-town, and we got stuck with "Gotta Go Fast", Annoying Voice Actors(Some of them), Censored and cut out scenes, and just a heartless ending to it all. Not at all. It may be comparable with the Saiyaman saga when Son-Gohan went to highschool and tried to play super hero but overall... no. Of course, the Sonic Battle adaptation very true is somewhat comparable with the fight tournament as well but again, not really.

Ye, but I honestly feel season 3 ended it on a fairly good note, not to mention a very satisfying conclusion to the show in my opinion which is why I don't mind there not being a season 4.

Ye, but I honestly feel season 3 ended it on a fairly good note, not to mention a very satisfying conclusion to the show in my opinion which is why I don't mind there not being a season 4.
