The Air and Space museum in Chantilly VA has one of these. You can view it from an upper level and walk around underneath it. They also have an SR-71 Blackbird, and the shuttle Discovery.

Actually it's the first time I see as night takeoff departure of the Concorde. Love it was done with a cheap phone video coz this thing passing by with full afterburners is the closing thing to Star War stuff and the Millenium Falcon I have ever seen. And I am not a Star War fan.
@@MrDaiseymay nice. I did not know that. I haven't been to an air show in a few lifetimes, I hope I can witness a Vulcan take off. I've seen Vulcans, impressive to say the least.

The passenger's paid for the fuel. The rich never complained. Concorde was in regular service for 30 years, no civil airliner had a comparable safety srecord. Concorde was NOT reponsible for that single crash, it was other peoples carelessness.
The Concorde wasn't the loudest plane. I saw the launch in Zurich (see my video of the last Concorde-flight from Switzerland). At the same airport I witnessed the takeoff of an old four-engine Tupolev; the ground vibrated, the sound was infernal! ruclips.net/video/xNm0-6B4Twk/видео.html

Can you believe there was a plane with afterburners that took off from Heathrow everyday??
And that it is still parked there being used as a storage after 20 years
sick as hell... i wish they still did that lol
It was awesome
Seems we've gone a bit backwards...
What a beauty...
She was the most beautiful aircraft in history. 747 is also majestic, but not quite the beauty of Concorde.
So you’re telling me that the A350 doesn’t look as good as either?
@@TheOtherAviationGuy not to my eyes, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Yes. In 2001 we had the twin towers and concorde. Now we have neither. All thanks to America. Think about it. All deliberate.

We'd run outside to see it..

It was done with a first generation digital camera so it’s a bit grainy. Canon IXUS if I remember rightly. No iPhones back then.
Never underestimate the British aircraft ❤
I used to whatch concord take off from the parking rooftops from Kennedy. Let me tell you, the ground shook. For a long time
Those 4 RR Olympus Engines , were also fitted to our Vulcan Nuke Bomber's, so massive power, plus after-burner's
