We shoot ‘em every single chance we get here in ky. I think they are part of the problem why the turkey population has been decreasing. We know there are neat raiders too like coons and possums

Good job on thinning out out the yote population. One of the farms I hunt has a big cow pasture on it, the guy that owns the herd has 3 mules that help protect them. We still kill one every now and then. Saturday after next is opening day of youth season in NC, my grandson’s 17 so this is his last one. He tagged a jake opening day of ‘15, that was his first bird. We’ve had a lot of luck in youth season, the birds ain’t educated. Love y’all’s channel and how you hunt, good luck and bang-’em up.

Musta been the smurf that fella recognized or the THP sweatshirt. Laughing....... That's awesome for the first guy you bump into they already knew ya and even complimented on your owl screech. Never turn down a gnarly ole coyote.. You just saved probably 10 to 20 turkeys, way to go zach. I worked down in starksville Mississippi back in 2011 and the Natches state game area was loaded with birds and a lot of large snakes. Keep after them southern turkeys and this is awesome seeing you guys start the tour. Be safe down there and have ole catman come on down.
I know your pain I live in central VA the birds here are stubborn and smart. I've got my butt kicked the last two years but I'm ready for them this year. I've got a couple more weeks before the season comes in here and I can't wait to get in the woods.

I am glad y’all got a coyote. I hope you get a turkey or two, also. Over the years, I have hammered several coyotes. One morning I killed one with a turkey in the field. Coyote came behind me in the woods. Killed it, and I ended up killed the gobbler later in the day. It was a long day, but it was worth it.

But that’s why there so much fun the challenge and figuring them out. Nothing wrong wit one that comes on in but need the challenge and figuring him out n stuff. Then ya got a good hunt.

Great job on the yote!!! Once again excellent content and videography. I really hope you guys are noticing all the hardwood and marketable pine damage around you ( minute 16 onward) from the high intensity firing. I keep seeing it on multiple videos and especially on very important mature hardwoods. I am a huge proponent of prescribed firing and use it often as a land manager as well but what we are seeing here on our national forest and on your video's in national forests sure shows more negative than positive firing effects. Keep up the great work!
