Hey I was able to change code but with the new code the gate opens and stays open. You have to re-enter code to close gate. What did I do wrong? Remotes operate gates correctly.
Your system might need the “step” function instead of “relay”. Try this instead: 01# code# code# 1# Note the final 1# instead of a 10#. What kind of operator control board are you using?
How do you know if you need to do 1 or 2 relays? Is two relays for a gate with two sides (two hydraulic moving pieces). How do you create a code to keep the gate open for an extended period of time?
In my world I’ve used two relays for 1) unlock a magnetic lock and then 2) trigger to open the gate. It could also trigger a light to come on or other feature. Keeping the gate open for a period of time would be a function of the gate opener control board. I don’t think you could manage that behavior from the Linear keypad itself. Thanks for your question!!

I had someone try to come into gate they didn't have code but gate came open and will not close now. When I place pad in reprogramming mode gate closes perfectly, but after a while it opens back up and remain on green light stays on pad.
#ApacheRanch, Excuse me sir, I did this and it worked, I was able to open the gate from the wall control panel, but after doing it, my remote control stopped working, now every time I press the buttom on the remote control, I can hear an small clicking sound coming from the motor, but it doesn't open it any more! the code that I entered still works and I can open the gate from the panel, but not with my remote control, can you help me with this? Do you know how to re-program the remote control again? I really appreciate it If you can assist me with this matter, thank you.
Really your Linear AK-11 is a self-contained unit (ie stores the codes internally) and it does not do anything back to your control board except send a "go" signal to either open/close/stop etc. So not sure how your remote was impacted. I have several videos on how to program Nice/Apollo remotes to the 1050 control board - but not sure what kind of setup you have in place. Thank you for your video, I had the same issue with the gate not closing and changed the final code from 10# to 1# and now works perfectly.
I also had the same problem, it won’t close , i changed it from 10# to 1# and it works!

You can use relay 2 for the exit gate as well incase you want to hold open both gates

To my knowledge it only accepts 4-digit codes using digits 0 through 9. Thanks for your comment.
