- I stayed in the world’s first capsule hotel bus that was a hotel on wheels! While traveling I’ve experienced many capsule hotels in Asia including trying the worlds best capsule hotel ($9/night), to $20 Capsule Hotel Vs. $60 Capsule hotel in Tokyo to a capsule hotel train to even an overnight bus hotel, however these were nothing like this experience today on a capsule hotel bus! This overnight bus was a literal hotel on wheels with a check in and check out time, beautiful bathroom and a capsule hotel pod that was incredibly made! The bus was beautifully designed and the toilet was amazing but I felt claustrophobic without windows. LOL. Still amazed how you downed all those heavy duty pastries so late at night yet still slept soundly. Thanks for the ride.

This is an amazing idea and looks super comfortable! Would be cool if one day, capsule rooms for airplanes would be a thing as the norm.

In Indian sleeper buses they have windows.... like all of them. No ac, no fancy lights, but the most necessary thing, a view to the outside world. (one whole wall is made of glass)

The windowless aspect of this freaks me out LMAO. Everything else is great though.

Honestly seems like a solid overnight option and saves the cost of a hotel for that night, which you’d wind up spending most of the first night at anyway especially if you have to leave after work on a Friday to go somewhere

I’m suprised he was able to eat all 3 doughnuts in one sitting at night and still stay thin. I ate the plain glazed version of that maple doughnut he ate and it’s a very heavy doughnut and one was able to keep me full and he is thinner than me.

I think overnight trains should try the capsule concept. It would be a good middle-ground between a full sized train cabin (expensive!) and sleeping in a seat (uncomfortable, not private).

One of my favorite adventures so far! looks so much more comfortable than a plane and with the cost it's also a hotel. Such a great value and adventure, next time I head up the coast I'll totally try this. Amazing video and cheers to 1m in the near future!

The carbon footprint of 4 people flying is 7X that of 4 people carpooling, so can imagine the capsule bus compares favorably as well.

I'm probably going to go to Alaska for 1.5 weeks to see my Dad either late Feburary or early March, but if there was a place I'd like to go to first would be either Paris, France (Bonjour des États-Unis), or Volgograd (Formerly named Stalingrad), Russia. Korea was on my list, but I'm not travelling out of country soon just yet, but just hearing about a global virus pandemic going around is a bit scary if you're not careful. Heck, I'm not sure if I would need to wear a mask if I fly into one of the west coast airports...
After trying this earliar on this year I can say he might be sponsored. The bathroom smelled, it was dirty, the wifi was shit, the pillow was scratchy and uncomfortable, the blanket was scratchy and dirty. Overall was a bad experience. And for the donuts, They were eh but the way he described them was VERY overrated.

Pretty unique, imo. Two things that would bother me are the lack of windows if you wanted to look outside and, much less of an issue, if you were on the bottom capsule. Would be annoying with the person above getting in and out of the top capsule...but that is just a VERY minor issue, imo.
